Great video! I've checked on some charts and all these techniques work! Another thing that I've seen again and again in the charts of married couples is the darakaraka of one person being the ruler of the nakshatra of the sun, moon or ascendant of the other. Say for example someone has mars darakaraka, their partner is a mrigashira/chitra/dhanishta sun, moon or ascendant. In general I find the dk to be the most reliable planet in the chart to "predict" the type of partner we end up with and need.
I totally agree on the DK being the most determining factor in who we end up with, because it’s literally what our soul is seeking and resonating with! I wanted to make a video to show all the correlations, but I plan to make more and go in more depth with just 1 or 2 charts. So hopefully that shows how I’ve seen the DK to work more fully. But this note is VERY interesting. Totally works for me and my partner 😂 now going to look at everyone else!
Okay. So for couple TWO, her darakaraka is Jupiter. HIs rising is krittika (sun), moon is ardra (rahu), sun is hasta (moon). His DK is Moon. She is Vishakha rising (Jupiter), Ashlesha Moon (Mercury), Pushya Sun (Saturn). Have you seen it work for BOTH partners? Or just one of the two? For case study THREE, his DK is Venus and she is Purva Ashadha SUN - which works. But it doesn't work the other way around for them. Couple FOUR, same thing. It looks like his DK is moon. Her rising is HASTA. Her DK is Mercury, but no Me Sun, moon, or rising nakshatra. So it works going one direction. (But glaringly, he's a GEMINI rising!!! I'm just testing this nakshatra idea). Couple FIVE, we don't have his birth time. BUT HIS Dk is Saturn and her moon is in Anuradha! So... It makes so much sense that this method would work frequently based on how darkaraka works! It's the type we are searching for. Thank you so much for sharing! What a fun way to start my day!
@@astrologynowpodcast I've seen it work both ways often, at least from the little research I've done, this was one of the most consistent thing. Wonderful post. Its been a long time almost a year for new podcast. By the way saw a recent video from Andrew Foss on Ayodhya Jyotish on Budha/Mercury.
Very karmic, felt like twin flame. Atmakarka conjunct atmakarka in d1. Darakarka conjunct darakarka in d9. My darakarka is moon and his atmakarka is moon. Always feel were talking to each other without speaking.
Great video, Christine!! I absolutely love synastry readings! So much fun to make those connections. My partner and I both have Mars Atmakaraka. He has Venus darakarka, and I have exaulted Venus. My darakaraka is Saturn, and my partner has exaulted Saturn conjunct Mars atmakaraka. I saw many more connections within our D1/D9 charts, but just that synastry alone in our D1s is very significant. So interesting!! 🌟🥰
Hee hee see I've done yours before out of curiosity and totally saw the exaltations - I thought it was AMAZING!!! Sending you so much love, sweet Shawna!
I feel I have a very karmic connection with my son’s father. Together on and off in each others lives for 9 years. His darakara Venus in Aries Aswini is conjunct my darakara Saturn in Aswini as well as his Jupiter in Libra (swati) conjunct my Venus in swati , his Venus opposing my Venus and his Ketu conjunct my moon in Purvashada . Very toxic relationship and lots of pain and lessons but still care very much about him as he was my first love.
Absolutely... see... you have a child together. There is something holding you together for life. That is extremely karmic. It doesn't mean you have to stay romantically together. But when we see a lot of karmic ties like this, it tends to draw out the drama/bond/bondage. You got a beautiful child from the connection and leveled up emotionally/spiritually. A lot of the time, unfortunately, leveling up can be painful! Sending you love.
Beautifully said! Unfortunately I don’t see us getting into a stable, healthy committed relationship or marriage together in this life, his navamsa chart is very challenging and mine isn’t much better. I am thankful he is still a part of my life and more of a friend now than anything. We definitely have to work hard to keep the peace and find a common ground but right now things seem to be going ok. Thank you❤️
My Atmakaraka is the moon. My partner has 4 planets in Cancer (including his moon). His Darakaraka is Rahu and his Sun is his Atmakaraka, my Rahu is conjoined my Sun. We both have Saturn in the 7th as well!
@@jennachristianson3572 WOW! That’s so amazing. Saturn being strong really helps with commitment. Notice in the first couple, she has Saturn in the 7th and he has moon/Saturn conjunct. This is so helpful because each will view commitment similarly. SO NICE for you and your beloved!

I’m young (20) but the craziest I’ve experienced was my Sun, Mercury, Venus AK and Ketu on this guy’s ascendant and my Rahu on his Venus and Saturn in his 7th House. His D1 Rahu DK is my D9 Ascendant. My D9 Ketu is his D9 Ascendant. Pathological liar but I feel like I’ll never forget him. Another crazy connection I had that was very karmic - we met when Rahu was transiting his Venus and Rahu was 7th from my Moon - his d1 Rahu on my d1 ascendant - my d1 Rahu DK on his Sun and Mars, my Ketu on his Moon - his d9 Rahu on my d9 ascendant, d9 Ketu on my d9 Sun, Mercury and Mars - his d1 AK and DK opposite my Moon - his d9 AK on my d1 Ascendant

@@Rrachelmichelle well - the Saturn influence seems to be playing out somehow! Usually it’s reversed, but who cares. In terms of, USUALLY Saturn DK gives older spouse. But if you have that AK / DK swap, that’s awesome! There is probably younger spouse somewhere else in your chart. If the relationship is good, just enjoy the fact your AK/DK swaps and don’t worry about it!!
What does it mean when the partners D9 RA/KE becomes my ascendant and descendant in D9? Also his Jupiter is in sag in D1 but it goes into Aries in D9 and my Darakaraka is Jupiter in Aries in D1 and stays also in Aries in D9 in 7th house, which means his Jupiter falls in my 7th house as well. Is this relevant?
Rahu in D9 Ascendant grants knowledge of Astrology(born talent). It also means it is Cesarean birth and Ability to handle big machines without fear. Skilled in research, philosophy(borderless thoughts ). Because Ketu is in D9 7th, it means nature of Spouse is somewhat Spiritual.
it is hard to tell without seeing everything - but all of this sounds very significant to me! This specific video is simply noting correlations I've seen CONSISTENTLY with long lasting couples. The D9 Ra/Ke being the same as your D9 ascendant is totally relevant. The fact that you have the Jupiter placement (sign) of his D9 is great. Jupiter in the 7th of D9 is great bc it can mean an ethical, wholesome, spiritual approach to love. However, we have to be careful not to expect our partners to be perfect. Sometimes it can lead to seeking god like perfection in partnership. If that sounds familiar, seek god together and remember that all humans are flawed. Sending you love and harmony.
If I and my partner has same 1/7 axis placement of rahu and ketu? And some of his planetary positions of d1 match my d9? My dk is with his ak and his dk is with my ak then?
