    "One Against a Hundred." Sums up North Korea's situation on the world stage pretty well. Evil or benign, I have a deep respect for such a steadfast resolve.

    • @corvon7410
      @corvon7410 4 роки тому +3

      "steadfast resolve" is achieved at the expense of the welfare of the North Korean people. If leaders are willing to sacrifice the population for their foreign policy goals, then they are bad leaders. There is nothing to respect, only to regret the spinelessness of North Korean citizens.

      @@corvon7410 Typical western chauvinist calling them "spineless citizens". Have you ever considered they actually are fine with their government? No, of course not, because you believe that anyone forging their own path without western liberal influence is wrong.

      @@echojaxx8550 The United States destroyed every structure made in North Korea, bombed it back to the caves, what do you think would happen if your country would suffer such destiny? What would you feel about the country who dropped more bombs in your country than what the US dropped in world wat 2? I wouldn't like to live in North Korea, but those people were tested in hell and i wouldn't be arrogant enough to point fingers.

    With the motto in the chest "One against a hundred."

    This oath of the heart, "One against a hundred"
    We are soldiers of the commander, one against a hundred, a hundred against one

    It would be a wild exaggeration to say the US and other Western countries are the source that feeds the people of the DPRK. All the more so, when the US cant even feed its own population - 50 million Americans reported going hungry last year, and tens of thousands of Americans are living in tent cities. It would be more true to say that that US offers food in return for certain negotiations it wants with the DPRK, and that the DPRK agrees to the exchange.

    Anti-imperialist struggle by itself is not a sufficient reason for defending broken, unequel, isolated systems which create even worse suffering and slavery than their enemies.

    why cant democratic countries have epic marching music?

    • @Ilya18
      @Ilya18  6 років тому +4

      Because modern social-liberal democracies aren't inspiring and "epic". Some of the old revolutionary republics like France did have some pretty amazing martial music, such as La Marseillaise and Le chant du Depart.

    Just as the former Soviet Union got disintegrated, China opened up to capitalist market, former Romania liquidated its own communist party, Vietnam slowly forsaking its communistic control, it is only a matter of time for North Korea to end the Kim Jung Il & Kim Jung Un hierarchy and their cruelty to the “comrades”. Thousands of innocent North Korean people have been cruelly killed, NOT by Americans or South Koreans, but by Kim Jung Il & his cohorts in their own land for last 50 years or so.

    The famine in the 1990s was caused by the fact that the DPRK had a very modern agricultural sector, which depended on Soviet oil for fertilizer. When the USSR collapsed, the supply of oil was cut off and their was a catastrophic fall off in agricultural production. A fate that may well lay in store for the USA, if Middle Eastern oil is cut off in the future. Studies show the US children have stunted intellectual development, due to poor education, poor media, and poor nutrition.

    Even in a case where the majority have their abilities restricted, the system is flawed because it places power in the hands of the majority rather than the most educated or well-informed.

    What monarchies have a unicameral parliament (with more parties represented than the United States in its legislature), in turn electing the three members of the Presidium, all of which can be recalled instantly and must run for re-election every 5 years... exactly...? 0__o

    These "lazy people" barely exist. They are constantly brought up in these conversations. What we never stop to ask ourselves is: "Are their group really big enough to be, at all, relevent?" The people who don't work are in almost every case looking for jobs. The, maybe 0,1% big group of "lazy people" are most likely "lazy" because they have other problems haunting them.
    If we just left this group out, would you support distribution between top and bottom -workers-?

    Would you prefer being at the bottom or would you prefer being a CEO? I actually believe there should be some wage gaps. A CEO could make £600 more a month than the "lowest" workers for all the overtime he or she has to work.
