Wuji is a weird music piece. When I am hearing it on erhu I feel like crying. On piano it seems like a background music. On cello it is so heart breaking. On flute it is making me happy with tears in my eyes. On Guqin it is simply so peaceful yet so wrecking. When Xiao Zhan sang it, it felt like someone went through so much but still hiding their pain under a inspiring smile. When Wang Yibo sang it, it felt so cold, so emotionless yet it stir up your insides.
the reason why I like ancient Chinese ancient instruments more that the modern ones bc when playing it, the sound gives more emotion and it feels really peaceful
