The "Alliance" part of the Tournament is still missing... There are not really any Coop tasks, except for Armadas... getting AMS type of tasks, on top of the solo tasks, would make it a more engaging system.
seriously, "Launch 50 fkr armadas for your alliance with like 1 point for unc, 2 for rare and 4 for epic could be a great 'alliance task' that would be progressible for every alliance. and like send 1000 helps to alliance members ams. Would be so easy and encourage play working together to finish the goal. PLUS doing tasks like this really encourage players to be in position to ops up, exactly where socpley wants them so it would really only help their goal
I'm really concerned if the 'shared' list of tasks is still the way they want to go, since one dumb/toxic teammate can mess things up for people, since there isn't any way to know who 'rerolled' the task you wanted into oblivion. Fingers crossed..
If that's happening to you, you should probably change alliances. I'm in the biggest alliance on my server, and no nonsense like that happened. That would be an immediate kick and a ban from our allies.
@@TechHug Ya, but that's part of the problem. To my knowledge, there is no record of who does what, so you might be waiting on a specific task, and then it pops up, then poof, gone again. HOPEFULLY, an alliance mate just grabbed it and that's good, but the stupid 'reroll event' makes other bad choices possible.

Rerolling isn't my issue. By the time I get off work there were no task worth any points left. I hope the point boost makes that feel addressed. I'm always skeptical though with Scopley.

You have faith that it won't still be a SPEND event? I agree that what they stated, that there will be 10k events that are doable with in game resources instead of ONLY being obtainable by spending $$$, and increasing the insultingly low end point values, is 100% what it should have been to begin with. However, when their response to complaints about it is that "spending is always a choice, never a requirement" even though the only way you had any chance whatsoever of getting into top tier was to have every single player in your alliance spend nearly a thousand dollars ($100 / event for each of 3 events per day over each of 3 days to maximize score), it leaves a bad taste, and does not leave me confident that the event will be significantly improved. Sure there might be a 10k point activity that can theoretically spawn, but it will be legendarily rare, and / or only possible to complete IF you are > lvl 50, AND have a large supply of whatever tokens. I hope I am wrong, but Scopely doesn't have a good track record.
well- the previous could have been directly called alliance WALLET member tournament. i think it would be a better mechanic to instead of asking to do task [A] for 100 points and task [b] for 1000 points and task [c] for 10k points, they would give milestone tasks instead- kill hostiles [count a for x points/level of hostile]; so you can get max points for easy task as long as you grind enough....
How your alliance ranks... or spends that's really the question isn't it?!(go on tell me with a straight face that the spending alliance won't win & with members that most have already brought said alliance rewards!!)

I really like the idea of these kinds of tournaments. But we can’t have even more events that require material spending of any kinds especially if those spend events are the highest point rewards. An average player can’t keep doing rare fkr armadas (previously 8) every time this rolls around. Let’s say that task but once a day. (So 3 times) how long can our rare directives hold up against spending 200 x 8 x 3? This is only 1 example and sure a player can’t keep doing choose to not do that one. But if all those point values are for those kinds of spend resource to finish, all of them will eventually run you broke and you’ll be locked out of participation at that point value.
Tournament just started and its already broke. First round was fine. Second round, its not recording borg probe hits. On another server, the FRK armadas stopped counting them after number 3 (and someone had done 12). It's broke!
im open to given it a chance as long as tasks are not limited hope like defeat so many armadas and points based on the rarity and level so much ways they can go and like a alliance based ones say defeat faction hostiles for each member and points per hostile level like a lv20 gives 20 points just an idea i was hoping for similar to cow
You missed the third option were a alliance collectively chooses not to participate like my alliance did last time ( sounds like Doply didn't get the participation they thought they would 🤔)
can they make an IOS client that doesn't freeze up between screens, forcing me to hard restart the game? Or not keep reintroducing old bugs like event awards that reappear every 10 min for 24 hours after I finished the event and claimed the original awards?
If they haven’t corrected the flaw where the task you are doing disappears when someone rerolls and you still get the task deducted from your daily allotment, then none of this matters.

Edit: You say to stay positive, the only thing in recent months Scopely has given us players to have a positive idea on is how if we are right on how much they will paywall things and flip us off as players. off topic, but I'd love to see some efforts by scopely to help smaller alliances or solo players be more competitive. The game design heavily incentivizes everyone to jump into the biggest alliances and this centralizes power. Anyone who wants to play more independently cannot complete. Alliance rewards and perks are too great for the top and the gameplay becomes entirely predictable on every server. I'd love to see the incentive structure spread out more and decentralized. But maybe this whole design is intentional to exclude outsiders and push for conformity.
You are telling the wrong person there. Rev is very much a Find the biggest alliance to carry you. Rev follows the mentality that this is a chat room with a game attached not a game that happens to have a chat room.
The only feedback they are listening to is the many people saying they will stop spending on this game because of the poorly done new content that comes out. When the strongest player and likely highest spender in the game says he's done spending, Scopely has no choice but to listen. This company has continued to hide what they are really doing or outright lie about it for years. Why should we believe them now? There was still no mention of adding more tasks to encourage lower ops players to participate. Maybe the tasks should be shown as relative to player level within the alliance task list. That might encourage all players to pick a task that isn't mine G6 materials which an ops 25 can't even remotely do.
Did they shoot all the bean counters and all the managers who were "in charge" of the last Alliance event? If no, then I have no hope whatsoever. If yes, I have a mostly dead levels of hope for this event.
Any mechanic that forces group play is a bad mechanic. And no buying your way to soloing a group mechanic is not mean it is a solo mechanic. Any currency that is group mechanic based MUST HAVE a solo sourcing comparable to the group mechanic. Waves need a solo hostile (use an existing hostile) Group Armadas should have the ability to trade in an existing currency for armada credits ( guarantee turn in using an existing currency.) make it a lat or CLat exchange.
Doesn't this tournament still favor the older servers. It would be like 20 server fighting 700. what's the point. I still feel the older server will always be in the Master Leg.
I'm done w this game Scopely & Xsolla has taken me for a ride for to long & I've reached out to them so many time I lost count & still the don't help w/me problem .😢
Scopely seize the pay $$$$$ is all they care about. Not the players, played game since almost day 1. But us f2p always left out with the trash. An idea how bout the devs play f2p and no freebies. See how they feel having to wait for a ship or officer months later. Yes overhead cost money but so is our time. Increase rewards for events, fix the refinery.
So long as they just fix the bugs that would be a start. I didn't even get to participate last time since all of my "turns" or whatever they were called were locked out if I picked a bugged task. Select the task, go complete it, get no progress in the task. Screwed for the rest of that day. If they fix that then maybe I'll start to pay attention to this crap new feature.
most of the top terr players have jumped to other alliances. to stop from having levels 50 ships & above them from blowing out of the skies. when you leave your homebase. i was getting request to move over to othes leagues about 2 weeks before it started - i got too that deal with enforcers from the alliance tournaments. great planning from scopley again. - another shit storm
Honestly i cant be exited anymore because its jusst to mouch to do , did not even use the protector ingot a weak ago because its no time and jusst to mouch , by the way mirror is 1000% bether than waves and easyer to do , all the planing and waiting and talking to do a wave is my problem

The trade off will be mine XXX million 3*/4*/5*/6* materials where XXX is the equivalent to having 5 maxed 4* miners running for the event window.
