Thank you for sharing your journey and the gorgeous scenery with us. That's interesting Mt. Cube is made of quartz. We have mountains here in western NC with quartz outcroppings and the most famous, Shining Rock, has a top made entirely of quartz and you can see it shining in the sunlight from many miles away.
