We honestly don't know if Do Kang Woo died, because we didn't see a funeral. But after we saw the ending of that ass being Alive; he is definitely going after the Golden Time Team. We all knew he wasn't dead, there was no body. I would love to see our old detective Moo Jin Hyuk, kick his ass and the adorable Son that grew up by this time and healthy again. The story was so well done I don't mind a season 4. Last thing I can't get over Kang Woo dying but you all know what he's last words were, we all felt his pain. He might be in critical condition or send away as he promised and just the team or his partner knew it. We don't know But I am rooting for Voice 4!!!!!!

After finishing voice 2 , I wanted to listen to this ost and knew from the comments that Do Kangwoo will die in the end. I was really shocked and sad even before starting voice 3 and found myself searching for other comments until I found some saying that he might be not dead as there was no funeral. Then I decided to watch by myself and here what I think: I really believe Do Kangwoo is alive because: 1- In the last scene of Do Kangwoo after being shot, he was moving his eyes and chin slowly. He didn't close his eyes and there were many things that made me feel his death scene was incomplete; like it was somehow cut!! 2-When they were visiting detective Park in the hospital, they were JOIKING with each other which make no sense if Kangwoo was really dead considering that they were crying so much at his supposedly death scene. 3-The scene when Kangwoo was looking at the sky.....I don't think he was in the heaven; if you look carefully at that scene , you will see lampposts(light street) and something like tree or building which indicate that he wasn't in the heaven. Also, if he was in the heaven , he should have felt free and at least smiled.....but that didn't happen; his face was the same as usual. 4-If he really died, there should have been a scene where Kang center remember him (like what happened with chief Na) or a scene of his funeral.....this is the least thing that can be done for a LEAD character I think. I read some comments saying that the writer said Kangwoo is dead but that doesn't match with what happened in the last episode. And still we have to wait for season 4 to know. Let me know your thoughts.
I somewhat agreed with you. At the last scene, Kang Kwon Joo listed all the victims died in this biggest crime, but not mentioning Do Kang Woo in the list. Maybe he went somewhere to get the treatment for his illness. But, I've read somewhere that they planned to kill Do Kang Woo character in the season 3 after discussion with Lee Jin Wook himself. Do Kang Woo's character was in enough pain. I think it's time to let him go. So Season 4 was already confirmed with new male lead. Whatever happened, I adore Lee Ha Na as the female lead with Lee Jin Wook more. Ji Hyuk is not more than colleague but with Kang Woo, it's different.
Please bring back Lee Jin Wook for season 4. He made it to be the highly anticipated during its airing for 2&3. Make a twist on the ending in order to bring him back alive since Kang Kwon Joo said his illness is curable. I will not watch anymore if he is not be the lead star.
