I was privileged enough to meet - years ago - the three Drag Queens whose performances in part inspired the movie The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert; the performances during their Girl World tour, which I both filmed and ended up participating in, revealed the artistry behind Drag and how, far from being restricted to lip-syncing Barbara Streisand songs, it can be a genuine performance art. My own Drag persona - Hellen Damnation - was born from that revelation. Lynks' work shows what Drag can really become!!
Shut up, this is amazing!! The song slaps, I love the mix of high and low notes, and the lyrics made me laugh out loud. The video is such fun, the cinematography, the actors, the choreography, the budget!! I hope you're as happy with the result as it's made me.
