Thank you for this song T-Pain. This is one that I will be listening to for years to come. I've been listening to this over and over on iTunes. To be honest, I forgot about it. I remember spending an entire night watching the live stream to this while he was producing the verse and verse harmonies. I started watching at around midnight, then it was 2am, then 4am. I kept telling myself I need some rest. By the time 6am came around, kids were up and ready to head out to the school bus, the wife up making breakfast and packing their lunches. Meanwhile my unproductive ass was still sitting mouth breathing and glazed over watching this man work his magic. I'm both amazed and honored to have had the opportunity to watch him bring this song to life. It means more to me than it ever will to anyone else in words. It's more than just technicality though. So much emotion interpreted in this song relatable to where T-Pain is at in his personal life. And the words resonate so close to the struggles, ups and downs, going on in my own personal life. This takes me back to the NPR Tiny Desk performance of T-Pain. When the internet said, "he can't sing". I always wondered where T-Pain went over the years, but to be honest, it wasn't him that ever left, it was me myself that left. Incredible talent and artist here. Keep on doing what you do best. The fact that you're willing to share with everyone else your talent, is absolutely amazing. Not many artists can do this or have even tried.
