What's sad about this scene is not only the last time we see Eren being happy and getting drunk with his friends, is also the fact that Eren knows that these people outside of Paradis will most likely be victims in the rumbling

@@alasdairmacleod7769 Remember that public assembly talking about Paradis to rally attack and punish it more, Eren left in disgust realises there is no way the world will leave them alone and decide the rumbling is the only way for them to leave Paradis alone, so as long as Marley kept spreading hate to the other nations it will be too late and once Eren die there will be nobody strong enough to fight back, so its now or never.
Drunk Mikasa and Sasha leaning against each other is the cutest single moment of the entire show.

Never understood why people read manga other than to just get ahead. How can you even compare anime with manga when you're just reading in your own voice with no background music or sounds. The OSTs are what make scenes like this so emotional.
@@n_7653 A lot of times the manga has more detailed art and there are panels and dialogue that didn't make it into the anime. Also it's the original source material that may have been changed in the anime. These are reasons that some people prefer manga to anime and why anime watchers end up reading the manga other than to get ahead. Also you can listen to any anime OST while reading manga and enhance your experience
in the manga eren drinks but doesn’t actually get drunk, he apparently has a high tolerance. but personally i love the change that eren gets to smile and actually enjoy himself with the people he loves for one last night. this scene brings me to tears every time i watch it.

1:04 Damn I just realized we had never got to see Mikasa laugh in the whole series until now (we got to see her cute and adorable smile but not laughing). This was by far one of the happiest episodes of Final Season Part 2. Listening to Call of Silence and seeing drunk Armin, Eren and Mikasa sleeping is so cute. These happy moments relaxed me from all the bloodshed and deaths that were happening in the previous episodes. Seeing them laugh and enjoy gives me happiness. Also Levi's expression in the end made me laugh.

i am in love with this scene, not just by how expertly it is made or Eren's feelings. but because its such a beautiful way to show how human we all are, and in a way how useless and disgusting racism is.

Damn. Out of all the scenes in this series, I feel like this one has to be amongst the most heart-warming. Something about the soundtrack combined with the happy moment for our characters makes me reflect on the beauty of this whole story.

By the way for anyone wondering, they are probably drinking what's called a "Rakı". Very strong alcohol, looks like water and it's usually drunk with mixing both water and alcohol. Do NOT drink without mixing it with water if you come across it some day. Isayama really did his homework.
Edit: Rakı is great when you have some food and people with it. Better if you listen to some music as well. Great stuff but as someone who hates the smell of alcohol, it is hard for me to drink it.

I had the misfortune to try that out since me and my friends were dumb teenagers. As I said before, it has really strong smell and taste even if you mix it with water and both of them just intensify if you don’t (Actually the whole reason you mix it is to be able to drink now that I think about it). I don’t say it as a mean to brag, but I don’t get drunk that easily. However, after drinking quite the amount of not mixed Rakı, I was thoroughly hammered. The hangover was also not pleasant. 0/10 would not recommend.

I cried my eyes out on this scene. I’ve been following SNK ever since it debuted, and its one of the best composed anime ever. Next year, this journey shall end.
This past decade, this anime has been one of the few things that made me wanna stick around, and this scene was a fountain of all kinds of emotions bursting out together. To me, this is the best scene in SNK 🖤

when i saw this episode i nearly cried. i felt a few happy tears forming in my eyes. it was so heartwarming and heartbreaking to see the group so happy for one last time knowing what comes later, especially with eren and sasha. i really love the message that the homeless people bring to the story. they really prove the point of mikasa's early message of the world being cruel but beautiful. in the attack on titan world, there are wars constantly being fought and innocent people constantly dying, but these people's community and hospitality to complete strangers are so beautiful. i think these people proved to eren what he's trying to stop. they aren't even eldian but they are forced to live tents and are hated. they haven't done anything wrong and are really great people and yet are still hated. he realised that as long as there are people, there will always be hate.
anyways, seeing the close up shot of eren, mikasa and armin peacefully sleeping together broke me. i just want these kids to be happy.

These two sides of mikasa.. Fierce strong woman, soldier and .....cute, adorable,gentle woman... The reason is simply eren .... Mostly only times she cried when eren hurt her emotionally or got separated from her (also deaths of her closest persons too ik that) ....and only times she's this happy, smiling, laughing, enjoying life is when she's with her beloved eren... She's definition of true lover.. Still it's sad she couldn't get the sad, regretting, lost emotions of eren this episode at full extent or she tried to heal him... Otherwise I'm sure eren would have tears break down.....& that's why she later in paths said "please share this guilt with us ,u don't have to suffer this alone "..... ..he was going through a lot.. But still made sure his friends enjoy this last time together scene at fullest.. That scene where eren seeing mikasa, armin truly describes how much he love them..
