Looks like all the mind-playing games Mayweather was trying to play on Maidana backfired on his ass. Robert Garcia and his people came prepared for all the shit Mayweather had been talking about in the days past. They brought the huge gloves that made Mayweather look like a bitch who doesn't wanna get hurt. Robert responded to the shit Mayweather kept talking about Corrales beating him, and yet, that's a fight anybody would rather watch. Unlike one of Floyd's boring-ass fights that not even his kids would actually enjoy. Mayweather wanted Maidana to bet his whole purse that Mayweather was gonna beat him again. Robert took him up on the bet and Mayweather punked out on shaking hands. And last but not least, every single person along Mayweather's side were there only as long as they are getting paid. All of that, it looked like, had Mayweather with his head down. It really looked like all those words affected him. He wasn't the aggressive, disrespectful piece of shit he was in the other cities. It all backfired on his ass and it seems like his game came back to play tricks on his mind. He didn't even get close to Maidana the way he did in the other cities. He was afraid he was gonna get pushed off by Maidana the way he did a few days ago.
I saw that fight and Corrales did KO Garcia but like any fighter with heart, he did try to fight to win. During that time, Corrales and Costillo was the most dangerous fighters in their division.

Nah. those are apples and oranges. You're talking about an aggressive boxer (Roy Jones) that moves forward/lead and allow his opponent to plant his feet and throw punches at max efficiency. Also a boxer who fluctuated in weight, and lost his speed moving up the heavy weight division against a boxer who always comes in at the same weight, and is highly known for his defense and not taking risky shots. The only time, I can see Maidana truly connecting with Floyd is when he's on the ropes, and most of those punches will be smothered and land in places like the elbow etc. just like the first fight. And maybe in this fight, He'll stay off the ropes all together to prove a point. I don't know though. Just a guess..
