  • In this tutorial I will show you how make the Amelia Posy, a small and petite bouquet suitable for flower girls and small bridesmaids, it could also be given unbound or bound in ribbon as a gift bouquet for an anniversary or special occasion.
This is a lovely lightweight posy of paper flowers and book page roses made using old books and coloured paper.
The Amelia Posy is made up of three handcrafted book page roses, that are made using real book pages, set with a single paper English rose at the centre and three paper rose buds nestled between each book page rose.
Decorating the edges of each of the book page roses there are two paper leaves each, giving a total of six leaves. Adding an extra splash of colour, there are three loops of ribbon beneath each flower bud and three poly-ribbon loops beneath each of the book page roses.
The Amelia Posy has been bound in woven ivory satin ribbon for comfort, with a tied length of ribbon at the top, which trails slightly longer than the hand-piece.
This posy measures approximately 18-19cm wide, leaf to leaf, and 21cm tall of which about 12cm is the handpiece.
Do use the timestamps/chapters to navigate your way around the process.

After becoming ill in October 2022, With a subsequent diagnosis of Grave's Disease (May 23), I decided to create tutorials for all of my flowers and makes. I'd spent 8 years perfecting my techniques and now, I'm happy to share them with you all, make them for yourself, your friends or even to sell...
I've had to close down all my selling platforms as I wouldn't be able to keep up with the orders.
With no improvement in my health and another diagnosis of Connective Tissue Disease (Feb 24), and then Cutaneous Lupus (Jun 24).
I am now focusing on all the art techniques and crafts which I've always wanted to try, but never did.. I'm still managing to do at least one, sometimes two hours of arty things most days. This includes making, drawing and painting. It's something I can do - even when I'm exhausted from the fatigue of my illness, I can just sit quietly and draw.
I've only started drawing again in September 2023 after many decades of not drawing, so I'm very much out of practice and still learning!
Come join me on my creative journey - Do let me know that you dropped by, just leave me a little message, a wave or thumbs up in the comments section.
Your support really is gratefully received.
