perfect workout tune
1-2 and 3-1 are the best ones
I like how, looking at the comments, pretty much every one of these is someone's favorite. Really says a lot about the overall quality of the OST.
With that in mind, I'm gonna go with 1-5.
Dropaholic is definitely one of my favorites for sure
Everybody is gushing about Undefeatable and the hype metal but they're all sleeping on the god tier DnB between.
Soundtrack is officially out on streaming!!! Thanks so much Atari for putting this vid together, really kept me sane while waiting for the official release!
I've never really gotten into Electronic music besides Trance and Eurobeat but now I'm getting more into them after listening to these bangers. Such an amazing OST holy shit.
2-1 is sooo good. I literally can't stop listening to it.
You KNOW they went all out when they composed unique music for EACH LEVEL + GAVE THEM ALL UNIQUE NAMES
4-6 sounds straight out of Rush, I was JAMMING
2-6 hits so hard. Love the soundtrack!
sky rail from SA2
My favorites include:
-Go Back 2 Your Roots
-Nostalgic Sweep (3rd)
-Hype Street
-Go Slap
-Constructure
-All Reality
-Rumble Rave (2nd)
-Arrow of Time
-Fog Funk (1st)
-No Pain, No Gain
Easily number 2 Sonic OST of all time for me.
Nice list!
4-6 is so good, sounds straight from Sonic Rush with some genesis instruments.
Agreed
Jamming so hard
imagine my shock when i, a huge fan of trance music, started up the game and heard that 1-1 theme in the first level. my jaw dropping to the fucking floor.
You also like 4-9 if you're a Trance music fan like me 😊
@@safakbas61 i haven’t listened all the way through not to spoil myself but i’ll remember this for when i get there 👀
I love this so much. It has all the energy of Jacques' stuff and I'm so glad to hear this electronic sound taken in a new direction. Some nice throwbacks to decent house and techno tunes in this. This is fantastic.
Also he’s not here to bully anyone
3-5 goes INSANELY hard for a Sonic game, and that's saying something!
Sounds slightly like jet set radio
for real, such a vibe
Reminds me of Machine Girls music. Btw the genre is called footwork
@@jamrah8713 I love Machine Girl!
hearing that one in hq gave me goosebumps.
Really liking this OST. 1-5 in specific is insane
Yessss.
Not enough people mentioning 1-5. It's the one I keep coming back to.
Same! It's my top 1 at the moment dvb
i CANT be the only one that thinks 3-4 “Constructure” sounds like it’s straight from the kirby planet robobot soundtrack
there isn't one of these that i do not vibe with... they're all gold
3-6 and 2-1 are my personal favorites, they're so catchy
3-6 is my fav too
Listening to this tracks i feel like Sonic passing thro time all era of music are here and then you go to the lyrics ones and he goes full punk rock anime type songs this is a great time to be a Sonic lover
I was a big fan of Sonic Forces OST, but this one is incredible !
My favorite track so far, is 19:50
NO PAIN NO GAIN
@@Loboan777yep we had to go through the pain of forces to gain this awesome ost
@@rejectscorner9939 yes lol
It's still insane that there's almost no repeat tracks in this game. Not only that but I can't think of one I didn't at least like .
That's because all the level themes were repeated instead of the actual songs.
Imagine Sonic Team telling Ohtani to create over one hundred unique tracks but allowing themselves to reuse all the same level designs and assets for every single Cyberspace lmao.
@@KoKoYoung actually some of the cyberpsace level designs are original. Namely in the later half of the game
@@yetanotherhankhill1032 yeah I know 8 out of the 30 Cyberspce stages are original level designs, but they still reused level themes and there are only 4 of them. Horrible.
@@KoKoYoung the in game reason for this is that cyberspace was pulling set-pieces from sonic’s memory so he could comprehend his surroundings and escape, though i agree they could’ve used a few more environmental settings
4-1 went really hard with dubstep!!
The hypersaw is fucking crazy, huge Knife Party vibes
Yeah I wasn’t into dubstep since early college but that brought me back
I've never heard such a pleasant mix of delightful 2000's trance and wubstep like this. The drop reminds me of Skrillex back in the day but better
Wait, this is the Soundtrack for Sonic Frontiers!?! This sounds like a direct rip from the upcoming Tekken 8 game. Definitely going to get this game cause the music going to sound like fire on my surround sound.
Stage 1-2 got me in a dancing mood
SONIC 4!!!! for the last 6 days I've been wracking my brain on trying to fins out where one of the background pieces in these tracks was from, I was certain it was a sample from a menu selection in a previous game and like the little blue blur running into frame, it suddenly hit me. Sonic 4 episodes 1 and 2 have this acknolwedgment sound when you select an option, and it's sampled in a few of these songs!!! there must be LOADS of other bits of the sonic bites theyve sampled and I love it!
You hear it most in 4-2
4-8 is not getting enough love! It slaps so freaking hard, I can’t get enough of it
28:18 this part BROOOOOOOOO this is beautiful
After I finish this game, im going to use Cyberspace's songs to play Trackmania Stadium, this OST slaps SO HARD, it feels unreal, man
That fact that these comments are all raving about different songs shows how mint this is
for all the sonic games…one thing is for certain. these people know how to make DAMN good music. incredible Sonic Team
Sonic consistently has amazing soundtracks and I think Sonic Frontiers is up their with Adventure 2, Unleashed and Mania as one of the absolute best
Are you kidding me? Are you kidding me? Respectable DnB in a Sonic game? I'm gonna need a minute.
Just played 1-2 and kept replaying it to get a better time and jam out
4-1 they really put in a full dubstep song. The style reminds me of Virtual Riot.
The leakers were right, the Cyberspace music indeed goes HARD
I'm here for the epic Drum & Bass they put on this badass game!!!
2-6 is a HEADBANGER
4-1 "RIOT is that you?!"
Context, RIOT is an Electronic Music Artist who makes music like this.
Virtual Riot?
We’ve got Hyperpop, Italo Trance, Dancefloor, Progressive, Future Bass, Glitch Hop, Nu Jackin’, Juke in here!
I used to only listen to dubstep when I as younger and when 4-1 came on, something from my childhood and soul awakened inside me and I was headbanging like a madman. Had ZERO business hitting THAT hard. And that second beat drop literally made me go insane in my room. Beautiful
It happened to me too , sometimes i hear dubstep but not that frequently, but in 2014 and 2015 i heard a lot of dubstep it was my fav genre and 4-1 made me nostalgic.
Floating in the blue is underrated
Me after hearing this wrong 2-5 and 4-2: "Why do I get this feeling of deja vu-u-u?"
1 - 5 😩 I cannot get enough of this one
3-7 is underrated, when the lyrics kick in?? Oh man
1-2🔥, 1-6🔥, 2-4🔥, 3-5🔥, 4-3🔥+ ddr vibes & 4-6🔥 are my favs so far
2-4 Undertale
4-5 for some reason gives me a bit of Park Avenue and Sonic Colors vibes. Absolute banger.
Life has three inevitables: Death, Taxes, and the OSTs to Sonic the Hedgehog never misses.
I like how pretty much all aspects of the game have their own music genre:
Open world: Ambient
Cyber Space: House/Trance/Drum&Bass/Electro
Boss battles: Hard Rock/Metal
4-1 Gives of Heavy 2014 UA-camr Intro Vibes and I love it.
And this soundtrack wasn't even nominated in the Game Awards! How?!
Gotta put a * for best soundtrack this year cause Sonic Frontiers is the best game soundtrack of the year.
Do it on Steam awards
@@RudJohns done
The OST hits so hard. I'm not much of a Sonic player but having heard their composers in other franchises I expected some good music and what a banger I found
You’re out here doing the work of the gods until we get the official OST release. 1-4 is practically knocking my fillings out with how rad it is. Thank you 🙏🏻 ❤
cant believe these songs came with free levels
1-2 is such a banger for me so far
5:42 specifically
@@nickdebeaux1873 levels 1-2 to 1-7 (minus 1-6) give me F-Zero GX vibes
@@vault1021 it’s perfect
@@nickdebeaux1873 2-6 is beautiful, sounds like a late game track to me and love the ode to Sky Rail with this one.
1-2 and 4-7 gives me Forza Horizon vibes
Amazing tracks.
1-2
1-3
2-6
3-2
might be my favorites of the bunch
2-1 Is also great
why DJs nowadays don't produce that type of shit? sonic frontiers just dropped eletronic music for the entire year
My favs have to be 4-9, 4-3, 1-5 and 3-3 (big fan of UK Hardcore / Nu NRG and Trance)
3-2 Fills me with such a warm fuzzy feeling it's insane
4-1 is one of my favourites, gives me old Dubstep and EDM vibes, good times… is sad that Dubstep is not that popular anymore like how it was around 2006 and 2013
i was not even alive in 2006 but this music genre is a part of my life
I'm not much of a Dubstep fan, but I found that to be one of my favourites too, that level was really fun and memorable for me. The song reminded me of MITIS when he did Dubstep in that style.
2-5 is the most underrated one in my opinion, that groove is simply out of this world
just realized this video has the wrong track for 2-5
1-3 is so underrated This genre of music is something i don't know why but i think i could listen to this everyday.
Edit:HOLY SHIT All of them are so good wtf i know Sonic music never miss but this??Damnnn
The genre is liquid dnb (just letting you know so you can search some more songs in the genre) 😁
@@JRedDaBoi oh thank you how nice of you
I agree 1-3 is one of the most underrated sonic tracks, judging that no one is talking about it
I personally think it might be on par with Sea Bottom Segue from Lost World
Why does 1-3 sounds like Metal Sonic boss fight from Sonic 4 Episode 2?
