I think one other thing worth mentioning is that their music not only connects people all over the world but also a ton of different generations, I can see comments from people my parents age and I'm 36, and I have 3 teenage daughters who love their music ❤ just an all around amazing band, and I can't wait to see how many great places they go, and I love Rush ❤

I do not agree. Damiano is the frontman, and his role is vital for the Maneskin identity. When they presented at xFactor Italy in 2017, the fact that in this times is rare to see a real frontman was one of the first things that have been pointed out by the judgers. They are all equal, but roles are roles. Plus, all the people killing just Damiano (and not each other) still put an highlight on Damiano, even if negative.
“I swear that I’m not drunk, and I’m not taking drugs” was a clear reference to what happened in Eurovision 2021 EDIT: so what happened? well, while they were in the green room, damiano had his head down on the edge of a table and he kinda looked like he was snorting coca cola (but in reality, thomas had broken a glass cup and it smashed on the floor. so he was looking at that). and during their press conference after they won, some french guy asked him if he was did drugs in the green room. btw they also did a drug test and they all passed. hope this helps!

This is beautifully shot and incredibly clever. Already a satirical song about the drug accusations at Eurovision, the music video is a parody of the literal (egotistical) meaning of the lyrics (‘why am I so hot’ ) countered by the slightly comedic slasher genre as Damiano is slaughtered by his band mates. I think they knew some people would misread the irony and instead judge them harshly, especially those who think this song is IWBYS #2 (which it isn’t) and I think the film makes fun of that stereotyped interpretation of them. Who ever thought of this is a genius and I just love how it adds the additional depth that I really enjoy about this band.

EDIT: so what happened? well, while they were in the green room, damiano had his head down on the edge of a table and he kinda looked like he was snorting coca cola (but in reality, thomas had broken a glass cup and it smashed on the floor. so he was looking at that). and during their press conference after they won, some french guy asked him if he was did drugs in the green room. btw they also did a drug test and they all passed. hope this helps!

Maneskin basslines are so underrated
Al ver tantos comentarios en diferentes idiomas te das cuenta cuan global es la banda, sinceramente les agradezco a måneskin por traer de vuelta el rock, sus canciones en italiano son hermosas, llenas de vida, letras inteligentes, poéticas, y profundas y sus canciones en inglés llenas de vida y energía, juveniles, y divertidas, y se ve que realmente disfrutan lo que hacen ya que cantan y tocan con pasión y su estilo glam rock es realmente increíble, también todos los amantes del rock sabemos qué hay muchos estereotipos como el de “para ser rockero debes tomar drogas” y no es así, para ser rockero solo tienes que disfrutar la música, defender tu opinión a todo dar y hacer lo que quieras sin que te importe la opinión de los demás, y cuando estos chicos en una entrevista dijeron “no queremos caer en los estereotipos de tomar drogas o estar con miles de chicas en una fiesta, solo queremos disfrutar la música” se ve que aunque son chicos son muy maduros y profesionales que muchos otros y saben en donde se están metiendo al entrar en esta empresa musical del rock, hay algo que no me guste de ellos?

Debo admitir que al principio de este año, cuando escuché por primera vez a esta banda con el cover Beggin, no creí que llegaría a ser tan fan, pero luego de I wanna be your slave ya no pude dejar de escucharlos. Me encanta su estilo, el ritmo y la voz de Damiano son una combinación increíble, cada uno de los miembros de esta banda se complementan y son extremadamente tanlentosos para entregarnos estas asombrosas canciones, es una lástima que solo haya presentaciones en Europa, aquí sus fans en Latinoamerica los esperamos! 🤘🏻

This is beautifully shot and incredibly clever. Already a satirical song about the drug accusations at Eurovision, the music video is a parody of the literal (egotistical) meaning of the lyrics (‘why am I so hot’ ) countered by the slightly comedic slasher genre as Damiano is slaughtered by his band mates. I think they knew some people would misread the irony and instead judge them harshly, especially those who think this song is IWBYS #2 (which it isn’t) and I think the film makes fun of that stereotyped interpretation of them. Who ever thought of this is a genius and I just love how it adds the additional depth that I really enjoy about this band.
