I'm really surprised that this video got so many dislikes, because even though it was fairly boring…. it was probably one of the most informative Dodge nitro videos I've seen yet period it pretty much answers most of my inquisitive questions pertaining to the Nitro!
Best SUV Dodge ever put out. Bold styling, heavy duty, great performance (but you had to make sure to get the 4.0 engine, vs. the bland 3.7 dog), decent gas mileage and super utility. Best vehicle I've ever had in Michigan winters!
Since you've done this, reveiw 5 months ago it says, have u had any major mechanical issues with your dodge nitro. I'm considering purchasing one. I have a family of four and love the space that the Nitro offers but I have yet to test drive one. Other video reviews I've watched mention that with the Nitro you give up a good quiet, accelerated drive and good gas mileage for its weight pulling capabilities and few other features. What have u experienced?
@@ArlethiaNF I have a 2008 and I'm thinking of getting a 2011-2012. So far my 2008 (which was bought 5 years ago and gets used A LOT, and was preowned when bought) has been a champ. The MPG isn't that great. I highly recommend this car for the space and durability. Its great for families and as a first car! Cheap on repairs too.
@@joejohnson6721 oh yeah it gets horrible gas mileage but at the same time it doesn't give up. Last year it started acting up on a road trip and I had to pull to the side of the road. Turns out it was just in need of new sparkplugs and wires
In November 2009, Stellantis NA announced that the Dodge Nitro may continue through the 2011 MY with their own decision of either redesigning or discontinuing to replace the Nitro. However many sources claimed that the Dodge Nitro would be redesigned for the 2012 MY. However these rumors claming the vehicle will be redesigned for 2012 was false and the last Nitro was made on December 16, 2011. 8 months later, It's sister, Jeep Liberty was discontinued after 2012
I'd def like to know that at this moment myself. In the market now shoppin around for these sized SUV's. Been watchin video reviews for a few days now.

the 3.7 isn't that bad, i get 18 mpg. and if you want a race car, go buy one. the 3.7 is a good engine.
Got any rust yet. I just bought a 2007 nitro. The base model. And I live in pa. So whats the rust situation like?
The longest I ever keep a vehicle is 3 years so couldn't help you on the rust thing.

The MPG completely changed my mind about this vehicle...18 in the city and 21 in the highway...it should be the other way around.

No load and go, no power outlet in the back , no RT stitched on the seats weird my RT has all those things, love my nitro

Service 4 wh drive light on
That's not the service 4 wheel drive light. The "4WD" lights up on the dash when the 2WD/4WD selector knob is turned to 4WD.
