I'm into trekking, so my must have mod is a mount for a plotter, which comes with a depth finder. Depth sensor is located inside the PWC glued to the bottom of the fuselage.
Even managed to route the cables without making holes to the hull by routing them via the ventilation pipes!
Heated hand grips…. That makes sense for my Alaska property….. can the seats be heated like on a motorcycle?
Very good question. The answer is yes. You'll need to do a little research, though as we haven't done one yet. Oh, and make sure you fuse the circuit, in case of a tip over. Good luck
I have a 2023 Yamaha FX HO Cruiser… can I do something to that to make it faster at all?
Our knowledge is primarily around Sea-Doos. Try out one of the Yamaha forums to see if they can answer your question. Good luck.
Bilge Pump Float Switch rather than manual, don't always notice when riding along there's a problem, but you soon do when your looking around then you see water being pumped out . Also didn't you find out the oil catch fills the hull up with oil fumes, then effects the performance.
We haven’t noticed any oil fumes in the hull. If anything, the performance has improved as the oily air is no longer pumped into the air intake. Thanks for your comment regarding the bilge pump. We agree. We’ve been surprised a few times to see the bilge pump working unexpectedly.
@@3ftDeepChannel really strange, Good that it helped you. Did the complete opposite with my ski filled my hull up with fumes. It wasn't until i removed the oil catch, put it back stock the ski gained acceleration. i did wonder if it was because the ECU was stock and the air mix has changed?
That is very strange. Are you sure you hadn't overfilled your engine with oil (very common issue), and it was overfilling your catch can system? It really does make a positive improvement, so it's worth further investigation for all intercooled machines.
Hi I wanted to know how did you get into repairing sea doos? Because I want to learn how to repair them and do it myself instead of sending it to a shop but I dont know where to start. Thank you.
Chris has had a long (35+ year) history of repairing mechanical things like cars, dirt bikes, Sea-Doos, etc. He started completely rebuilding them about 20 years ago, and gets a lot of his information from service manuals, and more recently from the internet. I'm probably more like you and learned from watching Chris, got my own service manuals and watched UA-cam videos. It was the very poor quality of repair videos that actually inspired us to start our channel. The main thing for me was to start off small and use the proper tools. If there isn't a thorough UA-cam video showing you exactly how to do the repair or maintenance on your machine, make absolutely sure you have a service manual for your machine that shows the correct torque values. So, you'll definitely need a good set of wrenches, and a few torque wrenches. It's a bit of an investment up-front, but it pays off very quickly. Good luck!
This is dope can you list where you buy this stuff
Sure, thanks. I've listed everything you can get through our Amazon store in the description and comments section below the video.
Love your channel …what battery do you recommend for a 2007 seadoo wake 215 supercharged ?
Hello Juan, It looks like the Sea-Doo part number for your machine is 278001882. It’s a YUSA brand you can buy here: www.amazon.ca/dp/B07HHHN3XG/ref=as_sl_pc_tf_til?linkCode=gg2&linkId=7065db95b822bbf34a599c20b5aa9b38&creativeASIN=B07HHHN3XG&tag=3ftdspor-20. We suggest taking the information to your local battery supplier and buying a sealed (i.e. non-vented) type of higher quality. You pay a bit more, but we prefer sealed units. Good luck.
could you do a video strictly on performance mods?
Sorry, we don’t have any performance modifications in the works. We did several, though: valve spring removal, flywheel bolts replacement ,SCOM and MapgtunerX installations. The Watercraft Journal UA-cam channel has gone over a few performance mods, so check them out. Also, I know that PWCMuscle has done a number of them, so they’d be a good resource, too. Good luck.
Please let me know what kind of bilge pump that was
It's the Whale brand you can find at our site: 3ftdeepsports.com/store-accessories-engine-bilge/

@@3ftDeepChannel is it automatic terminal just to neg and pos or do you got to put a switch in
You should be able to install it without a switch, but you will only have the automatic function.
I still don't understand why jetski people vent pcv to atmosphere and block off intake vacume
I wish they made a S.C.O.M for my ‘17 gtr-x 230
Wouldn't really benefit from it coz they only do 70mph so you would probably only gain 1 or 2mph at most
You got some of the best music yo! I'm rebuilding my ski off your videos! Thanks for the uploads!!
Thanks, and good luck!
