Dreading buying a phone without easily swappable batteries. my LG G4 spoiled me. I wouldn't trade it, but it's just so old and broke and the processor contacts finally gave out so time for a new one.. =/ This video made me feel better. It might not be QUICKLY swappable but at least easy enough to replace myself if needed. Battery bank life here i come ;.; thanks again
Why cut the sticky adhesive in two parts at 7:40? The adhesive is to be glued in one piece so that when you change the battery again, when pulling, it will come out completely.
@@robotkabot7541 I still remember Nokia 3310. I could change SIM card (that is under the battery) without removing the battery- just lifting it up. Idea was to keep the phone on and don't loose the actual time . :D
Wait long enough and the glass back pops off all on its own. No hot air or brutal force required! The battery 'balloons' and slowly pushes it off over a period of a couple of months. The first sign that this has started to happen, is when white spots start to appear on the screen (as the LCD panel is squeezed). Then the wide angle camera produces photos with stigmatism effect - centre bright and all four corners dark. I wrongly thought my phone was heading in the direction of the dustbin - until I removed the silicone armoured case, that was holding the entire thing together! Very clever design, by Xiaomi! 😂
When it starts losing charge very quickly. Batteries fade over time, it is normal but if you can't even last a few hours it's probably done. Also when it starts bulging or overheating without any load applied you should change it asap. Be careful who you ask tho, danger of being ripped off by the repairman.

Yes, you can do that too, but removal will be a little hard. it various. Still, it holds perfect
@@DIYGeardo interesting. I've had the same question

Phone users will prefer Removable and Technicians Loves Built in...😀😀😀😀💲💲💲
@@DIYGeardo thats right
@@DIYGeardo agreed. But try getting a modern phone with a removable battery...
@@robotkabot7541 It also depends how waterproof is your phone and do you really need to call/play it while it's raining or snowing.
@@udajs I meant, it's really hard to find a modern smartphone with removable battery in general. Waterproof or not.
Hello i wanna ask, is it fine if i my phone powered off till like 1 month because of the swollen battery. until i get my allowance to fix the phone?
turning off the phone for sometime is OK, just you might need to charge little extra to boot the device.
I visited the service center and the battery is not available in any center here in Hyderabad for note 8 pro ... where can I get one
How much does a new battery of redmi note 8 pro cost?
What's the name of cc board upper plate
Wow, how many parts you have to take out to simply change the battery...
Sometimes engineering is complicated. Gotta remove for the repair
Welcome to modern day engineering where parts are being designed to be more expensive to replace than to buy a new one
