  • ► Hello everyone and welcome back to another episode with beauties from the past, brought to life using colorizations and facial animations.
Throughout history, people have been fascinated by beautiful women. While black and white photography was a largely underdeveloped technology in the 19th or early 20th century, beautiful and iconic women of that era managed to shine through in a very poignant fashion. With the technology of today, we can now see these elegant and beautiful women of the past as they were meant to be seen. Let's watch a few examples of beauties from the bygone era come back to life in a very touching way.
Please check the video to see 19th century beauties and early 20th century beauties of the past (1800s, 1900s) come to life using colorization and artificial intelligence tools.
    Featured in this video:
    00:00 | Intro
    00:50 | Blanche Monnier, 1874
    06:16 | Pauline Chase, c.1907

Hi I am a religious sister in the Catholic church and our patroness is Saint Therese of the Child Jesus and the holy face she was a nun in France at the Carmel Carmelite convent. If you go on the archives of this convent in France, you will see many many pictures of her that her sister took in the convent in the 1800's but I've never seen one where Saint Therese is smiling. It would be so wonderful to see what she would look like smiling with her teeth showing and also what she would look like if she got old because she died at the age of 24. I will keep my eye open to see if you'd follow up on this of course I would not want you to make her look sensual because she was a holy Pious nun. Thank you

I have just read up on Blanche Monnier and have, I am not ashamed to say, shed some tears. To look at this beautiful young woman portrayed in this photo and realise the terrible things that were done to her is to despair over the cruelty that humans can inflict on one another. I pray that any afterlife will have been far kinder to her. Her beauty alone would make the angels weep with jealousy. And thank you for these photos that you truly add souls to.

It's heart wrenching to realize that the photo of Blanche Monnier was likely taken shortly before her family imprisoned & tortured her. She is obviously a young woman in love in the photo - you can see it in her eyes - and it only adds to her beauty and makes her story even more devastating.

If you can bring her back from when she was 17 to the present then doctors can treat her schizophrenia to a limited extent, but it is still not curable.
If you leave her in the early 1900s, her life will still be a nightmare, because she will end up in an asylum where her life will not be much better than living in her mothers attic.
Read the wiki page on Blanche - schizophrenia is onset in the late teens, its not something you get from being mistreated.

My grandmother did something similar to my aunt. My aunt was 25, had never had a steady boyfriend, worked at a bank. A man started going in at the bank where my aunt worked to conduct business. After 3 months, he worked up the courage to ask my aunt out, for lunch. She turned him down the first time, in fact 10 times after that. She was afraid of my grandmother punishing her if she went to lunch with him.
Finally, my aunt went out for lunch with the man. They were going out for lunch, not sex, for the next 2 months. He was a business man who had a business in commercial real estate. She told the man about her mother, that she was afraid of what her mother would do if she found out that my aunt had been going out to lunch with a man "behind her back".
The man was going to move to Chicago, in a year, he wanted to marry my aunt & take her with him. He wanted to meet my aunts parents & do things "right" as he referred to it.
My aunt said that when she told her parents about the man & that he wanted to meet them, my grandmother flew into a rage, told her that she was to break things off immediately and quit her job at the bank. My aunt refused.
My grandmother locked my aunt in her upstairs bedroom. My grandmother had my grandfather go to the bank, tell them she would not be back.
      That was it.
She never saw the man again, she was made to stay in the house and only go anywhere with her parents as if she were 5 years old! After a year, my aunt who was a couple years older, got married. She and her husband moved from Michigan to Florida & took my aunt with them, against my grandmothers wishes.
My grandmother refused to speak to my single aunt, her married sister or her son in law for over 2 years.
My aunt never married, she is in her 90s, now, has made a life for herself in Florida. She never heard from nor saw the man, again.

When she was finally rescued, her beauty was long gone; due to the trauma, she was unable to live a normal life and had to spend the rest of her years in an asylum. Her hair was so long, dirty and matted when she was found that the beautiful curls she was immortalized with, were long gone after her hair was cut so short, and in a crude way.

Yesterday, I saw your video, of bringing past pictures into color, & bringing their faces to life with moving image, and I was hooked. I subbed, faster then I ever have before! Lol When I saw you did a video about sweet Blanche Monnier, I actually screamed Blanche! Oh my god, I have to see this! Lol Then you go and blow me away all over again, by putting different colors of makeup on her, and HAIRSTYLES too! I Don't recognize the other stunner in your video, but she pure perfection as well. These are the kind of photos and stories, that make you frustrated, you can't build a time machine, & undue tragedy. She was a timeless beauty, and would've been a rockstar back then, as she would be now. This story will always get under our skin. She would've made an adorable Grandmother, sitting in her rocking chair, knitting for her all grand babies.
Thank you for letting us see her as a senior citizen, and a happy one! We even saw her teeth! I Didn't expect any of that.
Rest in Peace Blanche Monnier. You did nothing wrong.
