I feel like in their 2v2's SK always carries him, but this was a good battle. Felt like Dan was strong in the first 2 rounds, pretty even, but SK edged the first 2 and won the 3rd convincingly for me. Home field advantage matters though.

The acapella style, especially on the West, has evolved into something other than "strictly rapping" for a lot of cats. It is sometimes similar to a spoken word type thing. But I think thats part of what sets the West apart, its like theater, and not stictly a rap battle
What's awesome about this battle is that both these guys are good co-workers and friends in real life, so you can tell that there's no real animosity here, just fun battling and sick rhymes.

They're only gangsters/drug dealers/thugs on camera. True lyrical style evaluators could care less about their fantasy, criminal lifestyles. All I care about is SKILL.
