    Veg Chowmein Recipe
    #### Ingredients:
    *200g chowmein noodles* (or any egg noodles)
    *2 tablespoons vegetable oil*
    **1 small onion**, finely sliced
    **2 cloves garlic**, minced
    **1 small bell pepper**, julienned
    **1 medium carrot**, julienned
    **1 cup cabbage**, shredded
    *1 cup bean sprouts*
    **2-3 green chilies**, sliced (optional)
    *3 tablespoons soy sauce*
    *1 tablespoon oyster sauce* (optional for extra flavor)
    *1 tablespoon hoisin sauce* (optional)
    *1 teaspoon sesame oil*
    *Salt and pepper* to taste
    *Chopped green onions* for garnish
    #### Instructions:
    1. *Cook the Noodles:*
    Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Cook the chowmein noodles according to the package instructions until they are just tender. Drain and rinse with cold water to stop cooking. Set aside.
    2. *Prepare the Vegetables:*
    Heat vegetable oil in a large pan or wok over medium-high heat. Add the sliced onion and minced garlic, and stir-fry for about 1 minute until fragrant.
    3. *Stir-Fry the Vegetables:*
    Add the bell pepper, carrot, and cabbage to the pan. Stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are slightly tender but still crisp.
    4. *Add the Bean Sprouts:*
    Toss in the bean sprouts and green chilies (if using). Stir-fry for another 1-2 minutes.
    5. *Combine Noodles and Sauce:*
    Add the cooked noodles to the pan. Pour in the soy sauce, and if using, the oyster and hoisin sauces. Toss everything together to ensure the noodles and vegetables are well-coated with the sauces.
    6. *Finish with Sesame Oil:*
    Drizzle sesame oil over the noodles and give everything a final toss. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper to taste.
