Holding Triangle/Y combos seem to be combos only available in corners of the stages. However, in the center of the stages, you can just press Triangle/Y to bring yourself back to the ground, and continue the combo from there. It has some precise inputs, though.

i cant hold triangle after i do a bakso turbo, it doesn't work
I find it hard to do the hold down triangle part in the combos

Don’t hold down triangle the whole time do for only like 2 seconds or until your opponent is halfway from the air to the ground
