My husband cheated when I was pregnant and the affair continued months after my baby was born. Many problems cropped up during that time, but I did not know he was cheating. All our issues were blamed on me and my emotions during pregnancy and postpartum. I found out 19 years later and also discovered that he’d had several affairs in the meantime. He was a social worker and couldn’t see how any of the problems in our marriage were his fault. No insight whatsoever. Thankfully, he’s now my ex. But so, so many years wasted with a “nit”. Finally combed him out of my hair. 😊

Wow I don't know what drives a man to do something like this. A similar thing happened to a work colleague of mine who is now going through a divorce. He was cheating whilst she was in labour with their 2nd child. Once they broke up he admitted to other times and got with 'another' girl like not even a month after they split. My guess is it was the same girl from the first time. I'm gutted it took you 19 years to find out, no one deserves that kind of abuse from a partner, specially when you have their child.

That same night he found an excuse and I knew he was with her. I turned my back and that was it. I never hated anyone in my life, but I loathed her. Everyone thinks she is this beautiful woman, that is kind and sweet and wonderful, and sometimes I wonder if her true self will come out. As someone who ha been cheated on in every relationship I’ve ever had… and at includes 2 marriages… it sucks so much. The other women definitely know the guy was married, the only victims are the wife, kids, and their family. He was cheating whilst she was in labour with their 2nd child. Once they broke up he admitted to other times and got with 'another' girl like not even a month after they split. My guess is it was the same girl from the first time. I'm gutted it took you 19 years to find out, no one deserves that kind of abuse from a partner, specially when you have their child.

As someone who ha been cheated on in every relationship I’ve ever had… and at includes 2 marriages… it sucks so much. The other women definitely know the guy was married, the only victims are the wife, kids, and their family. I think she only came forward bc she was about to get caught, I think she may have even had a hand in selling the story.

Well, when it comes to power dynamics I think it depends on the mental state of the victim. Someone who was always abused and has low self-esteem will be easier manipulated than someone with strong confidence and a loving upbringing. No matter their age.

Charlotte has quickly climbed to one of my top UA-camrs within a week of me watching her. She’s highly enjoyable to watch and I can’t get enough of her content.
Having been cheated on myself, I never got mad at the other women, total strangers who weren't bound by any vows, oaths, or loyalty to me.
Is she partly to blame? absolutely! Is he the main culprit? Absolutely! He is the one who is supposed to set those boundaries! When my ex husband cheated on me at first I was more upset with the other chick but then I realized I can't have higher expectations for her than I have for the man I married. If he doesn't respect me enough to not cheat on me why should she have respect for me she doesn't even know me. That's why I got divorced because I can't be with someone who doesn't respect me.
Also you can never know what the cheater has told her. A friend found herself into "the other woman" shoes. The man told her he was stuck in a relationship with with his depressed fiancé, was SUCH A GOOD MAN he was waiting for her to feel better before calling the engagement off.
We learned later he was happily maried for a few years at that point.
If the girls know the guys relationship status then both are equally at fault. Promise or no promise. If the girl was lied to as well and didnt know about this guys wife or gf, then the girl is not even 1 percent at fault.

I agree that the spouse is the only one who owes it to you to remain faithful, HOWEVER, the other woman just completely disrespected you. She basically thrust her low self esteem upon your marriage just to prove she's worthy, or at the very least disregarded you for her own selfish lust. As a guy who is happily married, I never come on to other women. Although I will talk to anyone who wants to talk, I occasionally somehow give off the wrong vibe but will never take advantage of the situation.
