This trail is so much fun. We rode it so much last year I was Local Legend on Strava. This year we had a slow start, but it's been sick. The first series of berms were all packed down and solid to the point I needed to add air me rear tire. Nice video. I hope mine comes out just as nice
Started snowboarding for the first time at bear this past season, this would be so fun to do too. Was curious to see how it was during the summer, now im interested.
Snow Summit and Snow Valley both do the same thing, no trail maintenance, I went up to both places and super loose, Summit was in bad shape, almost seemed as though they did not do any work on the lower part of turtle, same with Valley, little to no work was seemingly done besides the widening of the trails, bit disappointed because I can see that they have all this new staff and nothing really gets done besides some huge upgrades to the bigger, more advanced lines...I would like to see them work on the intermediate and lower advanced trails, but anyways great riding
I would give them a little slack. Both parks were completely covered with snow only a week before opening. They have been in scramble mode ever since. I just love that we can get lift laps in without having to wait another month for them to prepare. 👍🏼
@@destinationMTB thats true, they were covered but I dont see why they had to open as early as they did if they were covered in snow, and they only couldve opened a couple trails at a time instead of most if not all, take Whistler for example, they only open a select few that they can then they continue from there. I just think that the premature opening of the parks and some trails ruined the true bike park experience for customers who were excited to get up in the mountains. I would rather have quality trails over a quantity of trails.

That is awesome! You must have been just banging out laps like crazy!

It is very different than the winter crowd. Much more laid back, and more relaxing IMO. But I love winter days there too.
Sick brother. ❤
Thanks 🔥
