I met a guy and we clicked. We both talked and shared we were both ready to date seriously to find a life partner. Things were going well then I made the mistake of letting my feelings get ahead of me and one thing led to another and we got sexually involved too soon. I know waiting is best and that was my intention but I had a moment of weakness, and I definitely think he was testing me with sex. Because I definitely sensed how it impacted the relationship and I couldn’t get him to take my words seriously after that. He kept being wishy-washy so I told him I’d walk. I probably gave him one too many chances because he clearly made up his mind about me and was not invested in learning about me. When he didn’t treat me well I did walk away cold turkey. I am glad I did because if he is still in that mindset of using the sex test and not open to see other aspects of me then that’s not someone I want. Or I accept he could have also never been that into me to begin with or was always ever about the sex. Either way if a man is using that test or only in it for the sex just walk away the moment you realize that.

I literally just had a guy try some of the same stuff just like this with me last week. He even had the audacity to send a snipit of Kevin Samuel to telling a lady she shouldn't be abstinent since she has has 2 children. I sent him a bunch of scriptures and told him that he wasn't the man for me. I've been abstinent for years and you weren't the first one to try those tactics.

You're exactly right. All of the rules seems to set for women but there's rules in the Bible for men too. First of all. If the man is the head of the household, he has rules and standards to live by too. Empowering women with these truths and not doing the same with men is not good. It's creating an unhealthy dynamic. Granted, both men and women should be operating in this way. Honestly, they're not.
