I think it isn’t about Olivia but about Sabrina because in the music video there are a few parallel scenes from the skin and skinny dipping music video like dancing around and sitting in the bathtub alone. It's not about Olivia. Joshua already alluded to that on his discord. Josh also said Ciara Riley (who's his bestfriend and also was in the Feel Something video) had asked him personally to be in the Doppleganger video to which he accepted her request. The video also references Sabrina in numerous ways. Definitely not about Olivia. Also, funnily enough, Josh doesn't even remember when he met Olivia. And that's a fact.

the commentary is spot on guys 😂 Josh did a great job on this song, I feel like there is a parallel between this and sabrina's song skinny dipping because of the talks about coffee ☕
and the part where he was talking to himself in the mirror is similar to when sabrina was talking to herself in the beginning of the skinny dipping MV
