Even in mangalore there are lot of beautiful caves which are in ruins in forests near kadri temple ..archaeology department is sleeping.. Only one of the cave is preserved .

I really appreciate the way you take us on your pillion down the roads and tracks and villages and small towns, as you ride to the place you have chosen to show us. I replay your videos just for the sunshine and breath of air redolent with smells of fresh-ploughed soil, cow-dung and ripening avare-kai. For us, who are cooped up in Bengaluru naraka, and thinking about those times just a few decades ago, when ours was one of the most beautiful cities in the world, it is heart-breaking nostalgia to see the genuineness in at least some of our ghraamagalu and graamadha makkalu. Most telling was the shrug, a "god only knows" gesture and pursed lips of that villager when you asked him about when the Govt. was going to get down to work.
Hopefully temple is built here very soon , and hoping landlord should get his appropriate money from government. Trust me these ppl are very humble and loyal. Thanks for sharing bro
Sudeesh avare, brilliant video. I fail to understand why the government does not take initiative to develop or preserve such structures. The efforts of the villagers need to be appreciated. That, which could not be achieved by the earth mover, was unearthed by them. Their humbleness also is appreciable, they always referred to the king as Maharajaru, never ever did they mention the name - a wonderful lesson for all of us, indeed
Very true the village folks are very selfless and humble people . they think of greater good and show care and gratitude to all. They interact with others so openly and with a smile. The basics of being human can be found among them which is slowly fading in the cities.

This one looks like the two Nandi statues were just the entrance statues for a mega (probably shiva) temple that was under construction, which obviously came to a dead halt perhaps during Islamic invasions. Hope there is atleast a complete temple floor been constructed deep under the accumulated soil deposit from centuries of soil erosion. Will visit soon.
