I just took writing, reading, and listening this morning and the listening section was so tricky! Out of 4 parts, 3 parts dragged on with unnecessary information and for some questions, they weren’t mentioning anything remotely close to them/related to them. And recording for that part was already over! I don’t know if in a split second that I needed to check answer for one previous question, I missed it. But the version I took today was so unkind to the test takers, overloaded with too much unneeded information, and kind of fast too. :/ I’m hoping I’ll be able to make up for listening and writing sections with speaking. Still, thank you so much for your videos!

Thank you 🙏
Do you advise writing notes while listening to the audio in the exam or we should only focus on the keywords we highlighted for the MCQs?
@@kainatalhashmi5403 I’m not sure you would have time to write notes. If you’re not fast enough you might miss the keywords!
Good luck
@@AnaAmOon Hi, well I find MCQs quite easy but matching the answers from the box types of question are very hard for me, what do you advise me on that?

Tips listening IELTS
1. Managing Times: know when listen and read, memorize question first. Maximize your time on the idle section or empty talked. Highlight keyword, memorize question.
2. KNOW EXAM FORMAT ( Practice and Practice real IELTS EXAM )

4 section of IELTS Listening Sections:
1. Dialog on General Topic : Filling Missing Words from Notes
2. Monologue a General Topic : Maps, Matched a function
3. Dialog in the Academic Environment : Choose the 1-3 correct (a lot to read)
4. Academic Monologue : Missing Words, Multiple Choices (notes, pictures, table, maps) write no more than 1-2 words or a number. Anticipate the answer. Much words that needed to be read. Highlight or the cross the answer.
Usually Question come in order. If u miss one answer, u didn't miss all of the question. Understand Maps "Mata Angin"

Plot twist: ielts listening is not test for listening its for multitasking evaluation.
Really you have amazing clear accent I've never heard before, thanks a lot
Hello Asiya, I have through your videos and practiced for 2 days and took the test on 21st feb, I got an overall band 7 with band 9 in listening.
Thanks a lot for making these videos.😊
Oops.. I actually got an 8 in listening.😂 Thank you Asiya!
My speaking test is tomorrow and the other parts will be next tomorrow Saturday. Wish me well.
good luck!
The best point that I get is I have to learn to read even faster so that I can memorizing the question and the option easier.
Awesome, thanks for the video!

How long did you learn Ielts?
@@KieuNguyen-fu7pd I studied for a few weeks..but to be honest I had good base in English though..just practiced the format of questions and took pointers from IELTS tutorials like these
@Ashwin Nair thanks, I intend to learn IELTS but I don't know where to begin
Start with the portion of exam ur weakest at..reading, writing or speaking..watch a few tutorials on the specified portion and then attempt a few question papers..and then continue with each of the other parts of the exam
