I took my IELTS exam last year... I had barely 13 days to sit for the exam. I was scared and anxious until I saw Asiya’s video on preparing for 7days or there about. Her tips really helped me and I got an 8.5 in listening and got into my dream school. Big thumbs up to you. Thanks a lot.

The more I prepare for IELTS the more I realize it's designed to fail you and to squeeze money out of you. They focus on testing your attention, ability to multitask, and a bunch of other skills; instead of simply testing your knowledge of English. But I'm very grateful for this channel. Thanks a lot, Asiya, for your help. Your tips are really helpful!

    2020, no short demonstrate task.
Know when to listen/read>> once test start, look type of task and read/ memorize question. (No need to listen after you finished all items > use that time to read next part)
Section 3 (multiple choices) >> impossible to read all
Learn test format, find time to read each part
Highlight keyword (not do in computer it take too much time)
After record stop, can mark which question to review, check the spelling.
    4 sections>>>
1 dialog on general topic >> fill in (number)
2 monolog on general topic >> may have map, matching (have little time)
3 dialog in academic >> multiple choices (>>have to read before listen)
4 university lecture >> need to know more word
Most difficult task >> filling the gap (anticipate what kind of word >> grammatically correct)
    Spelling matter
    Writ in Capital letters
    >>> multiple choices >> (tent to be the middle option - not first/last one)
    >>> map (2nd section) question come in order > find the starting point > understand the direction
Take IDP computer mock test before the actual test

    Tips listening IELTS
    1. Managing Times: know when listen and read, memorize question first. Maximize your time on the idle section or empty talked. Highlight keyword, memorize question.
    2. KNOW EXAM FORMAT ( Practice and Practice real IELTS EXAM )
    3. Cross Out incorrect options
    4. Remember KEYWORDS
WHAT WOULD YOU DO WHEN TIMES STOP:
    1. Marked the Missed Questions
    2. Check Spelling!
    3. Check Format! (For PBT)

4 section of IELTS Listening Sections:
      1. Dialog on General Topic : Filling Missing Words from Notes
      2. Monologue a General Topic : Maps, Matched a function
      3. Dialog in the Academic Environment : Choose the 1-3 correct (a lot to read)
      4. Academic Monologue : Missing Words, Multiple Choices (notes, pictures, table, maps) write no more than 1-2 words or a number. Anticipate the answer. Much words that needed to be read. Highlight or the cross the answer.
Usually Question come in order. If u miss one answer, u didn't miss all of the question. Understand Maps "Mata Angin"
10 minutes to Transfer your answer on answer sheet (for PBT) and 2 Minutes on CBT
When answering, The Question must be GRAMATICALLY CORRECT.
HOW WELL U CAN UNDERSTAND THE TOPIC ON THE FIRST PLACES

I just took writing, reading, and listening this morning and the listening section was so tricky! Out of 4 parts, 3 parts dragged on with unnecessary information and for some questions, they weren’t mentioning anything remotely close to them/related to them. And recording for that part was already over! I don’t know if in a split second that I needed to check answer for one previous question, I missed it. But the version I took today was so unkind to the test takers, overloaded with too much unneeded information, and kind of fast too. :/ I’m hoping I’ll be able to make up for listening and writing sections with speaking. Still, thank you so much for your videos!
