Without a doubt one of the best places you will visit in the Smoky Mountains is the Clingmans Dome and the Appalachian Trail.
It's our second day touring the Smoky Mountains in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. The Great Smoky Mountains National Park.
On this second day we will do the best trails in the Smoky Mountains National Park. We start the day at the entrance of the Park in Gatlinburg, TN. We are staying in Pigeon Forge, TN at the Hotel LeBlanc by Best Western. We drive to Clingmans Dome inside the Great Smoky Mounatins Nationak Park, where it will be the first stop. It is important that you arrive at the Dome early because parking is limited. We climb to the top of the Dome where there are spectacular views of the Smoky Mountians, and from where you can see seven states of the United States!
After the Dome we decided to do the Applachian Trail, a mythical trail that starts in Georgia and ends in Maine! The Appalachian Trail goes to the top of the Smoky Mountains.
The next stop was another trail (trails), one of the most beautiful trails in the park: Alum Cave Trail. We only made it as far as Arc Rock, but here Gael was able to get into a stream to enjoy the water from the mountains.
We return to Gatlinburg, TN to end our day at Anakeesta Theme Park by taking the Treetop Skywalk at sunset.

La carretera al Dome la cierran si hay mal tiempo, entonces es un bolado! La página del Parque la mantienen actualizada (está en la descripción del video) con esos avisos. Revísala contactemente para tu visita en invierno.
