I swear, Jurassic Park is the one franchise that unfairly gets too much hate. Why is this franchise demonized, but yet Fast & Furious gets a pass? I mean the original deal was that Universal was going to make five sequels... but last three movies were put on hold due to the third one’s box office disappointment, causing Jurassic World to be a soft reboot. And besides those movies are still badass. Edit: well this aged like piss! Jurassic world dominion SUCKED!!! But the toys are awesome.
I think there are a couple of reasons for this. First of all, the F&F francise gets plenty of critisism, but the main reason that people are okay with it is because aparently they get better as they go along and are intrensically silly films with an open premis. Jurassic park on the other hand has a specific concept, and the first film was a masterpiece. every film after it isn't as good as the first. With a concept that doesn't scream sequel bait and the simple fact that all of the others are different levels of mediocre, from the top of that of good but not great, to the bottom of it of being pretty much bad.
I love how the Frankenstein monster poster is in background which ironically mirrors some similarity to the Jurassic park franchise but that just me right
