I just listened to this for the first time, and I started crying twice during the video. It was cathartic.
I really needed to hear all that. I've been suffering social anxiety for most of my life and nothing seems to help much. But, this seemed to.
I'll be listening again so please keep this video up for a while.
Thank you.
Hey Lavender Spell, thanks for sharing! Great that you feel this is helping. A lack of self-compassion is very common in people who struggle with social anxiety. Here is an article we wrote on the topic in case you want to learn more: www.conquersocialanxiety.com/self-compassion/
This is a beautiful meditation. Don't give up with this channel if it is something that you want to build. The quality is brilliant and the meditation itself is wonderful x
Thanks for this awesome meditation! I just got a new job and it involves interacting with customers and fellow employees and this can be rather nerve-racking for me, so I am very grateful for meditations like these. I love the idea of practicing self-compassion whenever I’m feeling socially anxious, I’m going to work on doing that. Nice work!!!😊🌈
I come back to this time and time again. One of my favourite meditations. Thank you 🙏🏼
Wonderful to hear that Erica!
This made me cry. Not what I had in mind when I started, but it deffinitelly touched me.
So helpful thank you so much for sharing this I'm grateful for you.
Is there a version of this without the comment about being connected to “mother”? This is amazing but that part really gave me anxiety some of us don’t have those relationships. I just wish that was left out.
Thank you, so calming!
The woman’s voice is so peaceful it puts me in a trance.
, are there are other meditations she does not focused on social anxiety ?
Yes there are! We will consult and let you know! Best wishes!
@@conquersocialanxiety Please provide more videos about anxiety that this narrator does. Thank you!

Beautiful
Thank you ❣️❤️
This is still my favourite meditation for social anxiety. Does the narrator have her own channel or do other meditations?
Hi Erica, the narrator's name is Loula Taylor.
@@conquersocialanxiety thanks!
You lost me at “where you were once connected to your mother.” I’m trying to relax- I don’t want to think about my mother.
PLEASEEE LMAOOOO
I actually loved that part as it reminded me of the warmth and comfort my mother gave me. It's interesting how different we all are x
Yes, I think people with social anxiety more likely have an attachment disorder or emotionally neglected growing up more so than people without social anxiety,
I actually loved that, I’d give anything to feel any connection with my deceased mother.
Haha you're funny
Thank you
Thank you so much for this 🙏🏻 It really helped
If only I could find a cure I would live a good life.
👍🏼👍🏼
I'm here after reading Ellen Hendriksen's 'How to be Yourself'😀
