Most of the time, a lot of the people that look drop dead gorgeous has probably gotten some cosmetic work done so I wouldn’t compare myself to them. It could be fillers, Botox or even going “under the knife”( common in East Asia btw) Besides- why would you try fitting into beauty standards when you can create your own standard by just being unauthentically you! In my opinion, I think that’s the best because rather than following the crowd; you strive to the beat of your own drum by just accepting your looks just the way you are. That’s very freaking powerful if you ask me. Most people will try to copy other people to be “pretty” besides- those beauty standards are toxic and can mentally exhaust a young girl. Rather than comparing yourself to all of these girls here (who most likely has had some cosmetic uplift) embrace the way you look because that’s unique :) copying the beauty standards out there is like being a carbon copy, and following the crowd. I remember 5 years ago (when I was 8) i found k-pop and after a year i found kbs. I've never been so insecure. I used to hate the way I look for legit 4 years. Double eye lids - the crease in some people's top lids gives the appearance of a second eyelid
V shaped jaw - occurs when the whole face is slim, with a defined jaw that goes straight into a point
Slim nose - having a slim nose
High nose bridge - a nose bridge that extends further past your cheekbones
Heart shaped lips - lips that resemble a heart
Small face - usually 17cm and less but can vary depending on things like your height
Slim body - little body fat and little muscle
Pale skin - pale skin (usually it’s “the whiter the better”)
Height above 1.65m - being taller than 1.65m or 5.5ft (5’4.961 but I rounded it up)
Golden ratio - if you take the size of your head and your height, if your head size fits 8 times (no more or less) to your height then that’s considered the golden ratio.
There are other Korean beauty standards but these are just the ones this video uses.
