NCJW at Pullman District

NCJW visits and tours the Historic Pullman District National Monument. We learned the history of George Pullman, his Pullman Palace Railroad Cars, his factory and the community he built in 1881to house the workers. The community had a non denominational church, stores, shopping arcade, and everything one would need to raise a family. A wonderful docent was showing us around with lots of anecdotal stories.
