Absolut mega geil! Da hast du wirklich gute Arbeit geleistet. Und das Lied ist auch absolut super. Ich finde solche "rockigen" Lieder eh immer ganz passend für solche Tribute Videos. Das Video teile ich auch direkt mit meinen Freunden und so.
I'm not "offended", getting that out of the way; just really confused by a number of things. Isn't GTA one of the most ACAB games imaginable? Like you literally take on cops with reckless abandon at your own discretion. And in the story every governing force or "authority" are shown to be incredibly corrupt to the core. In fact it's one of the primary ideas the series puts out. Though, I suppose since this is more of a tribute to a real police force (the same one that caused the 1992 Los Angeles riots, of which GTA SA's final missions were based on) it's telling that the "satire" of this series has always been a tad shallow. Like, it's too obvious the LSPD are the LAPD, just with some letters changed. Still a tad confusing, though. Like, not to be a dick or anything, but aren't you German? Why are you paying tribute to an American police force? Regardless of whatever your feelings or ideologies regarding policing might be; why these guys and not your own guys? Maybe you're German-America, that's a possibility. Still though, something seems off about all this. My family on one side, I was told by them, comes out of Germany. But that side of my family and I aren't together because of their own decisions. I don't consider myself much of anything in terms of previous nationalities. Where my ancestors came from doesn't matter to me, because all peoples come from one source. So I try to give everyone I meet a chance. I've made a lot of great friends this way. Personally, I don't care for police. I would if they weren't usually up to doing evil shit. The ones in my area are assholes, even to people who outright support them. I've met a few while working from bigger cities that I feel some amount of empathy for, but only in relation to them as a person with traumas, not because they're cops. I think to make something like this, even for as stylized and well-made as it appears, is a bit antithetical to what GTA wishes to tell people about "the powers that be", especially V. I clicked on your video because it's early in the morning and I thought I was hallucinating. I never expected anything GTA related, fan-made or official, to be pro-police, real or fake departments. I mean, I know old Rockstar was certainly ACAB, the Manhunt games weren't fucking around when it came to displaying the corruption within modern American police structures. One of the whole points of Manhunt 1, a direct GTA spin-off, was to show that the police are just another iteration of a gang. Because, well... I mean it's pretty obvious how the functionality between mafias and police forces are fairly similar to one another -- while claiming to be different. It's not a new satire, but it's one that tends to strike close to home for many people, one way or another. I'm not against the idea of people setting out to help a community. But most police forces in America, even in small areas, don't actually address the sources of societal woes. In fact, especially here in the US, they're one of the biggest contributors to them. Cramming people into prisons for "offenses" that don't actually harm anyone else. Helping develop anti-homeless hostile architecture and implementing surveillance tactics everywhere they possible can; causing pain and mistrust in the peoples of our world. Trying to sabotage the efforts of social movements that are a response to extensive policing in the first place. Invading people's personal privacy more and more. Just a lot of nastiness, ya know. At any rate, I'm not trying to harp on your video or you as a person, I'm just genuinely a bit stunned at the takeaways I got from this thing. I don't intend to cause a conflict or go on some internet spiel about what's "right and wrong". I'm just... really taken back by something like this existing at all. Maybe GTA was the only game you could capture specific imagery you wanted to use in, which is understandable, there is no other game this close to Los Angeles in looks and feel. But also, just... Yeah. There's something to be said about a lot of things this is tethered to. Anyhow, regardless of anything; Peace be with you, videomaker ( ! )
Hello, thank you for your feedback. Of course I took note of it. I understand that some users may see inconsistencies in this video, but as I said, it's just a game that I "visualized" and imitated original videos that already exist on UA-cam.
Something straight out of The Rookie
The Rookie be like:
Regular patrol units do not have an LAPD shoulder patch. That is only traffic units that have the LAPD patch
Yeah right. We forgot to take that into account.

@@UA-camIsntTwitterKnockitoffbruh just enjoy the video, it’s clearly non-political and it’s clearly a tribute to his roleplay group.
