Why can’t the state govt amend the act? Very well said about how each of the departments like bbmp, bwssb, Bescom only work for each other & for themselves & not addressing the actual problem. If u give a complaint to bescom to fix power lines, they ask u to dial bbmp to take their approval! And bbmp mayor comes to just warm his cabin. It’s not just abt traffic, roads or sewage problems, wen one heavy downpour strikes the city, all of these problems storm together and paralyse the city. Roads are in very deplorable conditions & in order to fix that problem they erect heavy steel flyovers. Roads are in no position to withstand such weight. Infrastructure in Bangalore has reached the ceiling. It’s time we work something outside of it.
