Highly recommend the next DM album, Songs of Faith and Devotion as it’s arguably better. It’s incredibly dark though and lead singer Dave Gahan had been going through a heroine addiction (almost dying twice) but it’s a beautiful album.
Same here. Black Celebration was the first DM album that turned me into a huge fan. Honestly i would listen to the whole cd 2 or 3 times a day. My 2nd favorite album was Construction Time Again until Violator was released. But if i don't listen to Black Celebration for a long time i still get goosebumps down both arms when I play it.
Awesome review! I would recommend reviewing the Depeche Mode albums that lead up to Violator. You should start with Black Celebration, and then Music for the Masses. You will be astonished how incredible their music progresses!
Sweetest perfection is about obsession/addiction so 'off' is appropriate. The album will have you tapping your foot and bobbing your head and then take a dark turn.
Violator is a classic DM album there isn't a bad song on here. DM used to have link or segue tracks like 'Crucified' after Enjoy the Silence. They aren't really part of the song before or after... like pallet cleanser... but darker. LOL
And if u know, i have 10 years old and everybody sais that im so cool bc its a rock band and they think that kids dont really listen go that kind of band😅And im from croatia!❤
Songs of faith and Devotion is Violator's equal...but with a quite different mood. Ultra album is quite close to Violator. You have plenty to choose from. DM is always suprising. Just de best band in the world

No such thing as a bad Depeche Mode álbum. See them live. It’s amazing! Such talent!
Their best tour in decades just ended a month ago. It was absolutely phenomenal. They age like wine, and the shows seemed just so polished.
I always loved Depeche Mode’s smorgasbord of sounds!😍😵💫

Listen to the B-Side Songs! Especially 'Dangerous'! Great great Song!
The B-sides are as majestic
💯
In fact, I'd say the B Sides were their own solid release on their own.
It was like the cool kids club add on kit.
Dangerous. Prettiest Girl...
You should really check out Songs of faith and devotion next from them.
A top 10 all time album.
This album ushered in the transition from the 80s to the 90s.
And if u know, i have 10 years old and everybody sais that im so cool bc its a rock band and they think that kids dont really listen go that kind of band😅And im from croatia!❤
That's very cool !!!!
❤
Definitely do the album after this, 1993's Songs of Faith and Devotion. so so different and also so very great.
SoFaD gets a wierd and underrated reputation. Solid reputation.
Reacciona a "Ultra Album" de Depeche Mode, es mas oscuro y usa mas uso de guitarras con una producción muy buena, saludos desde Argentina!!
Your cat looks a lot like mine.😸
