What is going on, everyone! I hope you enjoyed the combo and discussion surrounding the White Aura package! Just a small note: I mentioned in the video that I was on a Foolish Burial Goods Package, and didn’t quite clarify what that means in order to access Abyss Shark. Essentially, you Foolish Ice Barrier (the trap), activate Ice Barrier to send Abyss Shark to grave, and then add Abyss Shark to hand. This is one of a few viable targets you can use with the Ice Barrier trap card, and I’m really liking it so far.
Again, if you want to see more techs and ideas before everyone else, consider becoming a Guu Gang member (ua-cam.com/channels/A1SBC1XGinVCZXe3y7gPIw.htmljoin)! Thanks everyone for the amazing support -- let’s get to 1.5k subs!! 🔥🐟
Nice seeing another Video about Ice Barrier from you 👍
@@payne9682 thank you!! Still lots to explore. I’m loving the archetype!
Loving the ice barrier content! Looking forward to more of your thoughts and the deck profile!
@@grahamreynolds8389 really appreciate the kind words!! Thank you for watching! ✌🏻
Please don't stop the ice barrier coverage fellow comrade
@@JuanGarcia-ve9vv I’m doing what I can for the cause 🫡🌊🧊
Yoooo thank you man for your dedication !! Love to see your video great work with good explainations :)
Despite all the positive points I mentionned about the white sardine engine Iam not sure to play it for long haha, have you seen the new water in Rage of the abyss ?! Eria the water channeler and the shadow atlantean are crazy.
Maybe a full gaz water good stuff is a good option you might be right😅
@@thomasberenguer5842 Thank YOU for the cool suggestion! I found the White Aura engine to be suboptimal in a handtrap build, but as soon as I pivoted to a gas/board breaker strategy (with a foolish burial goods package), things started to really click.
Again thank you for the suggestion and support! WATER RISE UP 💪🏻🌊
The white aura engine is really nice for not only the additional extension but the ability to pivot the combo where needed. Yea it requires multiple cards to achieve but the payoff is worth imo. Nicely done!
@@Nickscruiser agreed!! Especially if paired with a Foolish Burial Engine, the deck becomes incredibly consistent (even at 45 cards). Thanks for watching, brother!!
Will the side deck contain HT's or even more board breakers?
@@sakethparimi7664 a combination of both - I’m also looking into a Solemn Judgement and a Trivikarma/Mannadium reframing package to compliment the Foolish Burial Goods engine. The deck loses to DRNM and Evenly (or a combination of the two), so it’s good to have ways to beat those cards aside from our Monster effects.
I play a very similar build. But my ratios a bit different. I play 3 sardines, 2 spells, 2 sharks and then one moon fish, one minairuka and one fish Borg. One foolish goods and two ice barrier. If i have one sardine and either spell or shark, i go for the same toad play. But if i only have a shark i can take either of the other ones to extend. Plus they arent bad to draw either. You have to more slots for whatever. And two ice barrier because its the best discard for revealer. What do you say?
@@s.p.963 hey there! I also play the Abyss Shark extenders (but looking to swap Mina for Silent Angler, although I like Mina’s going-second ability). I personally like having a larger White Aura package as means of pushing through interruption.
My foolish package is 2 Foolish Burial Goods and 2 Ice Barrier. I was on Black Goat Laughs for Revealer discard, but I’ve since replaced it with extension.
Thanks for your input!
@@yugi.woah11 There are two other cards which might be very interesting. I play two gravity collapse. If you draw it with your croco. Set it and then tribute your croco at the first summon. Should be an easy win.
@@yugi.woah11 the other card I think is very interesting is magellancia, the deep sea city. It gives you hand knowledge plus banishment of an interrupt and it searches you any water and puts it on top of the deck. If you activate it before you ss croco you have a safe draw and can extend. What's your opinion on that? Only sad thing is the had knowledge Effect is only active in your turn, not in your opponents. Otherwise you could have used quandax into ... And banished another card from hand. Plus the level changing could come in handy from time to time
@@s.p.963 gravity collapse is a cool tech/possible side card, but I don’t love that it’s unsearchable and requires you to hard draw it. Because I’m on a Foolish Burial Goods package, I’m trying Trivikarma and Mannadium Reframing in the side. Sending Trivikarma gives me access to Reframing which allows me to beat cards like Evenly and DRNM.
The field spell is really interesting, but it may work better with an “Umi”/Fish Sonar package which I’ll have to investigate. I think it can be a powerful option, but I have to see how it compliments the rest of the build and if it impacts consistency.
Thanks for your suggestions!!
do you think any of the new support for white/white aura is any good? such as white circle reef, or white aura dolphin/porpoise and the other new support? i havent taken a look at them myself i just remember getting some of it from legacy of destruction and phantom nightmare
Edit: I wrote the comment before you summoned porpoise lol
@@Murasane yeah, as you said, I think Porpoise is a great card for this strategy and sets up a lot of alternative synchro options. The other pieces of support are probably better in pure or Ghoti/Fish decks, but just not ideal in Ice Barriers.
Thank you for watching!!
Can’t wait for our synchro battle 😤😤 which deck will prevail?!
@@SerzTCG it’ll be HYPE ⚪️👀
Imma buy
2x abyss shark
2x swap frog
3x sardine
1x sunfish
3x reincarnation
1x porpoise
Anything else i need to buy? Are abyss shark and swap frog mandatory 3 ofs? They're kinda expensive
@@sakethparimi7664 you’ll also need 1x Crystron Quandax.
I find that a full playset of Abyss Shark and Swap Frog especially add a lot of consistency to a 45 card build.
@@yugi.woah11 Oh yeah. Forgot about listing that. You play 45 cards? I try to usually play 42. How many non-engine do you have in the deck? With 43 cards in the deck with the ratios I put in the above comment, I have 6 spots for non-engine (i just put ash and imperm for now). Might bump reincarnation down to 2 or remove general wayne to make it 42.
@@sakethparimi7664 I play 3 droplets and 3 evenly in the main - high impact board breakers. I don’t think hand traps is the way to play this deck honestly. Gas and board breakers is the better route. There’s still tons of consistency in my build at 45 with plenty of ways to access Mirror Mage, and therefore Revealer.
How do you feel about the runick package with ice barrier
@@constantinegarganta8364 there’s no doubt that it’s a strong variant, I just don’t like Runick’s playstyle/win condition. I might cave and buy the Runick core just to try it, though.
Is there a decklist for the ratios?
@@speechless1887 not yet! Will probably drop it next week.
But overall:
3x White Sardine
3x Abyss Shark
3x White Reincarnation
1x White Sunfish
You can also add a Foolish Burial Goods package for even more consistency (2x Foolish Burial Goods and 2x Ice Barrier traps)
ED:
1x Crystron Quandax
1x White Aura Porpoise
1x White Aura Whale
All gas no brakes my man 😂. I build very little HT's if any at all. Give me board breakers
@@jaredricci9278 absolutely - love that I can push through interruption and set a Droplets in the backrow. Feels good 💪🏻 Thanks for watching!!
@@yugi.woah11 yea looks great I'm trying to work on a 60 card water dot deck. Ice barriers ghoti white aura shark fishborg icejade atlantean mermail lol

@@Thelocalduelists on the way! Just really trying to nail down the ratios but it’s close! Thanks for your interest! ✌🏻🫡
Of course! I’ve been running a Runick Ice Barrier build but this White Aura engine seems really cool!
@@Thelocalduelists yeah there’s no doubt that the Runick variant is strong; I just don’t like the premise on which Runick can be used. The White Aura Engine definitely has a lot of high synchro ceiling plays!
