I'm new to your channel and to golf, bought my first set of clubs this spring. I just have to say you are a huge inspiration! Making it look so easy 😅 Currently binge-watching your videos, really liking your vibe 👌🏼Thanks for sharing!
Aw that’s awesome! Keep at it, it’s such a rewarding sport (though it can be frustrating at times! 😉) years from now you’ll thank yourself for picking it up!
This is something I almost never think about. I always want to get as close as possible as fast as possible. Not good. I promise to play more for the 90 yard approach shot this season. I know I can play that. Gen vlogs always cheer me up. Thank you!
Been enjoying Golf with Gen videos for several months and have really enjoyed the journey. Not sure how you can produce such good content while competing at such a high level. The sounds of the game and peaceful voice over are so soothing. Such a stark contrast to my hackery on the course. lol
Hey Gen, i just wanted to say that I really love watching your videos they have helped me a lot over my golfing journey 😃 I’m a 13 year old golfer and yesterday I played in a tournament and shot my first ever 79 (+7) all thanks to your tips keep it up 😃
Staying strong mentally is such a big task--whether in golf, a 9 to 5 job, student, retiree, or really anything. Just hold the course and have faith in yourself to make yourself better for whatever is next!!! GOB!!!
I just can’t get over how much I love your Driver swing. I am the opposite i always find myself +2 after first 9 and have to be disciplined not to press and trust birdie opportunities will be there. Recently shot first time -2 two rounds in a row. I use the DECADE strategy has totally changed my game.
Thank you for showing us your beautiful smooth swing and a good attitude Genevieve. Many good players have said that a good round depends on the quality of your misses, not the quality of your good shots. Also need to take one shot at a time which mentally is very hard, e.g. thinking about that double on a previous hole and OOB coming up in a few holes.
Just keep your head in the game, it's not over til the putt on 18 drops - just ask Jennifer Kupcho (final round 74) to win the last Dinah Shore Classic/Championship - she faltered decently on the back nine, but stayed clutch when needed. I can see you there sometime soon, Gen!! Best on the LET this year!!
Malaysia is beautiful and calm weather and big fairway compared to UK violence wind speed and very cold weather 🥶 right now even now is April . Couple weeks ago I had an experience 4 season in one day 😑 Sunny before 12pm then cloudy , rain and snowing at 16th hole ⛳️
Fantastic shots of templer park. So cool. I am going to add templer park to my bucket list.... Do they take books from non-members? It's a long way to come from Australia. But that is one thing I would love to do in Malaysia.
I wish I had the control on the coarse that you do Im always in attack mode even 270 out Im still trying to attack the pin I will try to play more conservative. You have amazing tempo and just a beautiful swing good luck this season and thanks for the great golf
Can you put a link to the courses you are playing or a brief description of where they are? Being based in Batam these are all on the doorstep. Keep up the great work
Hi Gen, I generally play a "conservative" game, playing to the best distance or angle for approach shots depending on pin position. But I went into attack mode for a change a week or so ago and shot my best ever score of -4 on the front nine (8hcp). My previous best was -1. As I walked past the club house I thought, should I celebrate with a couple of icy cold beers or, play the back nine and potentially ruin a great day? Chose the beers and I get to remember an amazing round of golf 5/6 fairways, 7/9 greens, 11 putts for 5 birdies and one bogey.
Hey gen. What camera are you using to record now? Is it an iPhone still? Also what are you using to record sound. The last few videos have sounded amazing when your hitting the ball.
Hello Gen, I'll be travelling with my wife to KL for 10 days early May. Hoping to play at least a round of golf, or 2 each day. Would you have any recommendations on golf courses that allow visitors? Big Thanks!
Hi! Some places I would recommend you golfing at: 1. KLGCC *previously TPC in my vids*: Best facility in all of KL. A course to visit if you want to feel a "tournament course" and tournament environment. Also has 36 holes so if you want to play 2 rounds a day, you can play at both the east and west course as they're completely different! 2. Kota Permai: really good tournament course as well, if you would like to play here, I would recommend calling in advance just to make sure you can get on as I'm not 100% sure! 3. Templer Park (in this video!) 4. Bukit Unggul (your cheapest option, not as great in terms of conditions, but great views!) 5. Seri Selangor (a public course in Malaysia that is challenging and depending on the conditions, can be extra challenging if the greens are slick!) Hope that helps! :)
@@GenevieveLingGolf My wife said.. "That's so nice of Genevieve! We shoud ask if we can play with her🤣" . If you would be interested in playing a round with us, feel free to let us know!
HI Gen, NO like buttons on this video ???? I notice you seem to be playing a new driver ... looks like Mizuno ... yes? Also your wedges look like Mizuno too?

I’m wondering how you are following gens tournaments. I look under LET and find her as not under the cut line. Please advise.
Hey Gen, just want to say great start this past week👍. and now I will watch the video😁

that's a great swing....and I can't believe with that kind of solid drive it flies only 240ish yards....
Your swing look better today than most of the people over the weekend in the major!
2AM in South Africa, Made my day🤩👌
Haha hope that helps you have many golfing dreams! 😄😄
That glove removal timing on the 13th hole while you were putting for birdie was a little gamesmanship from your playing partner. Sly dog 😝
Can’t wait to be able to travel to Malaysia to play these great courses. Thanks Genevieve.
Hope you will be able to one day!
I like it when you talk through each shot and what's a strategy behind it
Like the back ground . you'r hitting the ball strong and good blance through the swing .. great video 🏌

Great advice, simple but so true. Currently looking to find my way sub-80, the primary goal for this season. Love your swing !
