Well if you have to say "good enough" it's most likely not. They did draft Monk and maybe they have plans. Thanks for keeping us on top Luke!
Welcome back Luke and Thank you for your really good insight on our Green Bay Packers. Lots of very good moves on Gute's part this year again. Can't wait. We've got a TEAM !!!!!!🏈
Myers must compete and improve to keep his starting job.
Agree
Thanks for the update brother! GO PACK GO!!
I love all the competition on the O-line. That will bring out the best in them.
The Green Bay Packers offensive line depth has improved. Time will tell whether if Jordan Morgan starts right away, and if he does will he stick at tackle or move inside? The Packers added versatility and depth. Jacob Monk’s best position is center, although he has experience across the line, while Travis Glover has the potential to eventually become the swing tackle. Go Pack Go 💚💚💛💛
Thanks for your updates! Greetings from Sweden!
I'm ok with keeping Meyers at C as long as someone can push him to improve and get better. I'm hoping the rookie Monk can do just that.
Guys, the coaching staff has been very clear since our exit from the playoffs. COMPETITION. They are all competing and as coach Lafleur said the best 5 will be out there. We just have to wait and see.
Whatever is best for improvement, seems like the team is ready to shakes things up in order to get it right. Not being happy with “ok” or “good enough” is how you win rings
Meyers has been 'ok' but we need better than 'ok'.
Tackles are high value in a passing league, and Zach tom talent at tackle may not be easily replaceable
I'd assume it will pretty much be how Ourlads has it. I'd think Zach Tom and Jordan Morgan will be the tackes, Sean Rhyan and Elgton Jenkins as guards, and Josh Myers at center. Rasheed Walker and Jacob Munk are interesting backup chess pieces...and Andre Dillard is the total wildcard here. He hasn't reached his full potential yet (I'm thinking it is similar to Derek Sherrod, former 1st round tackle that didn't really pan out.)
Going to be a fun one for sure.
Derrick Sherrie has his leg fractured in a hideous injury. It’s not that he didn’t “pan out” Why is this a narrative?
I like it 👍👍
Just because they "like" a guy doesn't mean he's a lock. I've seen them let go plenty of guys they liked. It comes down to the best guys at game time.
I hope Walker stays at LT, he has been pretty good there and it would be awesome if he turns into another effective and hard working late round pick.
Nice news on Meyers the 1st I heard this ,of course things could shake out differently come camp. I think Love's input might make the difference!
This is a staff that bragged tirelessly about how good Samori Toure is. Our line is in flux. We brought in Dillard, cut Runyan, drafted several OL and Myers has never lived up to that Packers C tradition.
Honestly I don't see what the big fuss is with Meyers he seems to hold his own do good I mean yeah let's guys get through but he always seems pretty fairly good
Before the draft, Packers Management said that Tom is a Hall of fame center. So it will be: Walker( RT) Myers( G) Tom( C) Jenkins(G) Morgan (T)
You don't move a potential all pro tackle to center. Tackle is far more valuable..
Who? A bunch of nobodys
Nothing is set until the first game against the Eagles. Then we will see the five starters. Your proposed OL is meaningless and likely not even accurate.
@@jamesjeffers7270 those are the best 5 but your limited knowledge of the games doesn't allow you to understand. But nice try
@@DrizzleBeaches I have more knowledge than you and your 5 will not be in the positions you listed. Not even close. Nice try. Go tell Gutey and Lafleur your idea and see what you get. 🤭
You don't move a potential all pro tackle to center, regardless of how well he could play center. Tackle is far more valuable. More likely Morgan beats out Walker and Walker moves to right guard.
That's what I'm sayin.. there's alot scarier pass rushers on the edge. I'd rather have an All-pro on the edge
Myers needs to WORK to keep a job on any team !
That's why they call it a profession
Millions of $ to play a GAME.!!
This whole Rasheed Walker issue is so confusing . The man balled out during the 2nd half of the season and Playoffs . He is extremely inexpensive for 2 more years . Is there something internally going on with him and the coaches no one seems to know About? This is not a shot at Jordan Morgan who I think will be a great player. This just makes no sense for Walker and his future . Am i missing something ?
More competition at tackle and guard is what the draft brought. If Walker fails to crack the starting 5 he or someone else moves to swing tackle. We need depth as Nijman, Bahktiari and Runyan are gone.
Stop bringing up David. He hasn’t played in 3 years
He played in week 1 last season. Keep bringing him up!
@@whenthemaskfalls8591 well come on I know that but we keep taking we let DB go but really hasn’t played much. Sucks I know but GB replaced him last year
Would love to collaborate with you if you are interested in discussing the Packers.
He is good enough, watch the tape.
If Baktiari didn't go down before the playoffs, I'm positive the Pack would have beaten the Bucs. No doubt. Massive loss for the line and a close game. He would have made the difference.
This how it should go…… WALKER (LT) MORGAN (LG) JENKINS (C) MYERS (RG) OR MONK TOM (RT)
Myers is the weak link of that line. He’s on the grass most of the time. I hope he works out but time is running out
Why haven't we released Royce Newman. He's HORRIBLE
This year
The whole josh myers is bad thing..is stupid..hes a unit..hes a force. Rewatch Giants game vs Lawrence. REWATCH him stick up for Love in the SF game. ..its a fan and media narrative thats absolutely just cause no storylines exist. Can he get his footwork..better yess..we got all offseason.
And as Ted Thompson always said, sometimes injuries sort these things out for you.
First 🎉

71 is marginal..not good enough
