  • Join me on an exhilarating journey through the heart of the Cotswolds, where days 3 and 4 of our 102-mile hike unfold with breathtaking landscapes and quaint English villages. Day 3 started with a brisk morning ascent, treating us to panoramic views of rolling hills blanketed in golden wheat fields under the clear blue sky. As we trekked along ancient footpaths, the air filled with the sweet scent of wildflowers, and we encountered grazing sheep peacefully dotting the lush countryside. By midday, we reached the picturesque village of Bibury, famed for its charming cottages with honey-colored stone walls and the tranquil River Coln gently flowing through. Here, we paused to savor local delicacies at a cozy tea room, replenishing our energy for the onward journey.
Day 4 greeted us with misty dawn hues as we ventured deeper into the Cotswolds, navigating through dense woodlands and across babbling brooks adorned with vibrant water lilies. The trail led us to the enchanting town of Bourton-on-the-Water, known as the 'Venice of the Cotswolds' for its bridges arching gracefully over the River Windrush. We immersed ourselves in its serene ambiance, exploring quaint shops offering handmade crafts and enjoying a delightful picnic by the riverside. As the day unfolded, each step revealed more of the Cotswolds' timeless beauty, leaving us in awe of its harmonious blend of natural splendor and idyllic village life.

Thank you Diwa. Wife and I just did this walk two weeks ago and it looks like we all went thru Cotswold tours. The hotels are great and this one was one of the best. Just a great staff and we enjoyed it very much.
