Thank you, Amry. Beginning at 1:13:02 Bumblebee listening to humans making animal noises is so funny! I loved every minute, including your great music selections.
I didn't even notice that until now 🤣 how funny! Bumble Bee is a character haha! So glad you enjoyed adventure 🥰 and thank you for the feedback! I had fun with the music on this one ☺️
Beautiful horses, beautiful scenery, great food, great camaraderie, and memories to last a life time. What more could one ask for. Thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it.
What wonderful adventure for everyone to experience frist hand a beautiful country on horse back...horse are wonderful.. thanks for sharing aloha from Hawaii Jerry
My wife and I used to take our boys and their friends camping and riding. I’m so glad to see that you you youngsters could go out and enjoy things like that! So nice to see people acting responsibly on an epic trip you’ll all remember for the rest of your lives! Thanks for sharing it!
My husband and I loved this Amry. We lived in Colorado from 1975 through 2008. We moved to Florida for the last 14 years. We really miss the hiking and camping. You kids are tough, those lakes and rivers are cold. I loved every minute and saved this to enjoy again. Thanks for taking us along. Makes me want to move back.
Great job of capturing your pack trip! The natural beauty of the mountains and beautiful fresh water lake and streams was pretty awesome. It looked like all enjoyed the adventure and you all will share wonderful memories of it :) The horses all looked amazing and without them it wouldn't have been 🐴 :) TY for sharing your adventure ! And Amry you did a wonderful job filming and editing 👏 Enjoyed every minute of it 👍👏
Amry, the more I see Butters the more I love her coloring. The darker the palomino the better. That trip looked amazing. The scenery is gorgeous. Poor Milo sure was tuckered out that first night. What an awesome Senior trip! I wish I had something like that when I was young and able to ride.
He is growing up to be such a beautiful horse!! He is getting darker by the day and big too!! It was sure a special trip and these senior got spoiled for sure ☺️ Glad you enjoyed the video!!
@@cnahorses lol I thought Butters was a girl. Sorry Butters! Btw, I didn't skip any of the video. In fact I rewound a few of the shots with Milo. It's a true testament of the relationships between Milo and the horses. Most wouldn't like another animal along side them. I was worried the whole time that he would get kicked or would spook one. He truly is a great canine companion and loves any place where you go.
@@sherylhypes6290 haha no worries! ( I won't tell Butters)... It is because he is just so good looking ;) I am so glad you enjoyed this video! Thank you so much! Milo is the best dog ever and loves all the adventures we go on ☺I really think the horses love him too!
Hi again AMRY Friends food fun super horses and lots of gear made for a great pack trip!! What a wonderful vid of your 3 day adventure! A long relaxing one to watch and surely would have enjoyed being right there. Yummy fresh trout and lots of tasty fixings cooked over the fire extra good. Swimming in a mountain lake hiking fishing riding and kicking back in the beautiful scenery with friends ya can't beat it. You covered the time in your own fun way including everyone as natural and real as they are. And the horses seemed to enjoy it too especially that nice fresh cool stream water. Your sweet dog kept up the whole way rain or shine and was a real trooper. Must say you all held up really well for being in that altitude on short order. Many thx for sharing another of your way cool times. Excited to see what other surprises you'll have in the future. Catcha next time... PS Do you make or buy those very cool flat woven halter bridles reins I saw? Also really liked your music choices that perfectly complimented the trip.
Hello ☺️ Thank you so much! I appreciate everything you said, you were spot on!! So glad you enjoyed it and I can't wait to share more adventures ☺️🙌 ... Thank you for the feedback, it helps me make better videos in the future ☺️ I make the woven mule tape halters ☺️ I have also made a few of the reins and most of the halter lead ropes!
Loved this, Amry. For all us older folks, it's nice to be able to share in the beauty and adventures in the lives of your family, friends and yourself! Keep it coming!
Thank you for taking me with you on your pack trip. Never got to go before and now I’m thinking I’m a bit to old to go. God bless each and every one of y’all. 🙋🏻♀️♥️🇺🇸
Our family (dad, mom & 3 kids) took a pack trip like thay in July 2015. Camped along Turkey Creek and rode up to and fished Turkey Creek Lake. Went in at Jackson Mountain road trailhead.
Good video Amry. Love your cute smile. You all from Congress, Arizona……I grew up in Prescott in the 50’s & 60’s. Prescott is too big now. Always fun to do this as long as nobody gets hurt. Your horses are very gentle and well behaved. That’s lots of horses your dad has. Your dad is a neat guy. I will take the girls any day, the guys need more experience. Trying to split a log for firewood with a big knot in the way will not work. Turn the log to where there is not a knot. Thanks.
My dad said that plant was call 'skunk brush' but I am not sure how accurate that was 🤣 a main reason for the tail bags is to keep the tails protected so they can grow long and pretty ☺️ Thank you for coming along!!
Hey….how long did it take to get all the horses ready…..packed and saddled…. Trucks and trailers unloaded… FROM GETTING TO TRAIL HEAD THEN READY TO RIDE OFF. How many minutes/hours??? What a kool video. Thanks, I know it wasn’t easy to take all! (BTW you did know that was BF country, right? Granite mountains & water….hahahaha)
Hello! (This is not counting the time it took us to originally load the stuff before we left because we did that little by little as we had time for it). Once we got to the trail head I would say it took at least 2.5 hours to get every horse saddled or packed up. Then our trail ride to the campsite was about 3 hours long. Hope that helps ☺️ Thank you so much!!! What does BF country mean? 🤣
Oh Amry…….your so very refreshing. Hahaha. (Just a quick FYI, they are real.) If you should ever have an encounter with one, God forbid, mind speak to them and just tell them they are scaring the hell out of you and you won’t bother them so please don’t bother you. If rocks or sticks are thrown your way or you smell a terrible order, or you feel sick….turn around and go back the way you came. I know this is all weird, sorry. Don’t mean to sound scary or crazy. I do enjoy your videos as well as your cousins….Alan and Vicky. Thank you.
Would love to get information about your trail rides always wanted to do something like this with my 22 ur old daughter to bond more and share the memories with her. Can you please send information and do you supply the horses or is it bring your own horses?
Hey Tammy! That would be an awesome trip for you and your daughter. We mostly do these trips with just family and close friends 😊 these were all of our horses. These kinds of trips happen maybe every other year if we are lucky. But I do know that there are companies that do this stuff full time! 😊
Hey David! We have been trying to go on a pack trip like this at least every other summer. It was planned and organized by my dad and another friend. It took us about 3-4 days to gather everything to get ready to leave and then were gone from home for about 1 week. Then the unpacking takes another 2-3 days. It is a lot of work but very rewarding. Because we (my dad, myself, and my boyfriend) owned all the horses we don't have to pay to rent any. My dad had most of the camping gear and borrowed some from friends. Owning the gear and horses (and horse-related things) keeps our costs down. I would guess the cost related to every person is about $200 (only counting food and fuel to drive there). But if you were to pay someone to take you on this trip it might be more like $1000 - $1500 a person (I would guess).
Hi Susan! I don't really sell my halters, I just don't have enough time to make very many. But I love to send a handmade halter home with a horse that I sell. So I tell people, buy a horse from me and I'll throw in a halter for free 😉☺️😃
