And then you realize how small even Temeria is. And then how small just the Continent is compared to the entire earth alongside potentially other continents like Ofier. Not to mention all the canonical other dimensions and planets
Yeah the Velen we see in game is only the very north western tip of a former temerian province called Velen. There’s even a major city in the Witcher universe called Gors Velen we don’t get to see which is the capital of this rural province
I know it has been a while since this was uploaded. But I have to point out how much I appreciate this video! What an absolute classy piece of art! Huge Witcher fan, I'm well versed with the books and games (and now Netflix series, I guess 🙄)... This is the best video I've seen yet on the geographic explanation of the Continent, and does a fabulous job at touching on the when/why/how of the kingdoms' relationships with one another. Honestly, this would be the absolute first place to send some one who just watched the Netflix series and would want to know more about the world of the Witcher. Very well done, man 👏👏 I've seen maps that cover it by taking a similar map and circling/calling attention to specific cities, areas, etc., but I'd like to see a video detailing the locations in the books so that others could get a better understanding of where (and possibly when) all these stories too place. Again though, hats off the video. You're other ones on the Witcher are on point, too... keep doing what you're doing 👍
