Just like the Elephant Man (Joseph Merrick), Julia's case is very sad as well. Exploited by greed and then to have her body persevered and put on display for over hundred years is sickening. I'm glad Julia was returned to the United Méxican States 🇲🇽, and her state was the beautiful state of Sinaloa, as this should've been what they did in the first place. The positive side of her traveling in the show was that she was educated, able to perform arts and got to see some beautiful countries that she wouldn't have had the opportunity to do if she stayed in her small town in Sinaloa.

    Julia
A Julia is the sweetest person you’ll ever meet. She’s so kind and understanding. While she may be quiet And reserved, she is so funny in her own way. She’s so clever and beautiful, and will ALWAYS be there for you no matter what. She can be a bit over-trusting and this can be a disadvantage for her. She may sometimes be so involved in the wellness of others that she forgets to take care of herself; this is her fatal flaw.
She’s got so much energy and such a great heart that she attracts so many people to be her friend. She’s very loyal to a small group of friends, 3 people or so, and they’re just like sisters. They’ve been through everything together and will continue to do just that.
She’s so smart and academically gifted, regardless of what she may say to be humble. She loves to draw, paint, and sketch on her homework.. this might sometime get her in trouble but the teachers don’t mind her. They know she’s such a sweet, kind, generous, and wonderful person.
Julia’s are typically petite, gentle-looking people with great, big, beautiful eyes. They constantly criticize themselves, but no one else can see the flaws she adamantly insists to be present. She doesn’t have to try and dress up to look good, because she looks go no matter what.
Anyone who is lucky enough to date a Julia doesn’t deserve her.
This lady is a Julia through and through

Bless her, people are so cruel and ignorant about genetic anomalies. Men look on the outward appearance, whereas, the Lord looks on the inside. I am sure that even today that she would be bullied and treated cruelly. I wish her beautiful voice, intelligence, and humanity would become her legacy. Thanks Forgotten Lives for such a wonderfully narrated story.

At that time she was called the ugliest woman in the world.

It breaks my heart that her newborn son died. The love she had for him would have changed their lives forever.
Her husband finally succumbed to the “Ghost of Guilt” . Tearing up & throwing the money his ‘wife’ had made him....really brought it full circle. Nothing in life is free....but
    LOVE SHOULD BE ✌️

It is horrifying and vile enough that he did this to a human being, to HIS WIFE, after she passed. But what disturbs me even more than that is the fact that he literally did the same thing TO HIS OWN SON. He exploited his own child's body after he died, and no one, not a single soul found this extremely disturbing?? As a true crime fan, I realise that morbid curiosity can make people do weird shit, but this is so fucked up because apparently, people were eager to contribute to him earning more money...

Outrageous exploitation. I'm glad a lot of people even at that time were against how she was being treated. It's so crazy how someone can be living autonomously, and then suddenly be claimed as property, bought and sold, just like that.

Very sad. This reminds me of the Elephant Man. Also years ago before there were laws to protect people , there were cases of conjoined twins being put on show at circuses.
Those bodies of mother and son should be buried with respect . I'm glad the Catholic Church could at least do the right thing for the mother.

What an incredibly interesting and well done video! Excellent Job! I got teary for this woman and her child. What cruelty. Then her child perished while they both were stored. I am truly surprised that her fate was still being decided into this century. That the second wife of the grifter husband sold her! They already had a fortune. Such a dark side of human greed. May she and her child be in a loving place, free of earthly cruelty.
Excellent research job and delivery! Again- Excellent! Thank you! 💕😄
