Each beta wave RS2 seems to be better optimized but I upgraded my PC quite a bit since I last played RS1 so its hard to tell. RS2 does feel much smoother sometimes IMO.
The sound effects on foot steps seems muted a bit. Is it easy to hear people running around you? or is so much going on around you that its hard to realize someone's right next to you?
