Saw him perform, wow... late 80's. He was absolutely BRILLIANT. I had no idea that he was only a year older than me. With such a masterful technique and musicality and passion. A really really beautiful and kind humble person.
Where's all the thumbs up?? This is my fav performance... I luv this piece and hope I can at least learn to play the beginning of it some day
It is very clean too. He is one of the few who gets the string crossings from G to E and back perfectly clean. Hardly any do though (or simply don't bother).
Beautiful feeling
I love the dramatic up bows! Sometimes his whole body goes up.
Creative shifts and not a dried out sound… fitting for this piece!!
Tu musicakidad y técnicas impecables....soberbias, insuperables llll BRAVO mil veces😊
When I was young and heard this piece but had not seen a score, let alone studied it, because nearly all violinists could not (or would not) play it cleanly (possibly in the hope that the showmanship would hypnotise the masses), I thought there were actually chords on those semi quaver string crossings from the G to E string and back. How many violinists actually play this perfectly cleanly? Perhaps only a few - Bell here does thankfully. Ehnes. Rosand...I am sure there are more but not many though!
Está obra es una joyita y ha encontrado a su justo intérprete por temperamento y delicadeza en su ejecución
Bravo!
The best interpretation
Love this guy lol ❤❤😂
👏👏
Это не игра,это шоу.Нам шоу не нужна.

After watching Pinchas Zukermann rendition, this is just ok, nothing special really.
Yep, and he needs a new choreographer. Heifetz would be laughing his arse off at this spectacle..I hope he does not put his neck out of place with all this gymnastics.
Probably much more ok thannu both
