It's sad, but a lot of people don't take Jongho's dancing seriously. He's always seen as just a vocalist. So yes Jongho is an underrated dancer. Now he seems to be getting more of the recognition that he deserves. :)
The other day on twitter I saw that someone told Jongho on a fancall that he was an incredible dancer. He tried to deny it, but the fan insisted on complimenting him. He was so smiley and it made me really happy to see someone appreciating his dancing.
Once Jongho switched from the headset to the hand mic he doesn't dance as full out as he used to. Maybe we can convince him to do reels or something instead because I miss seeing him really dance. He's so good.
In one of the teasers of TMT (Too Much Talk) Ateez's new series on Universe, the members said that he hides his potential, that his dancing skills are really good, that he has an LA Vibes, when they see Jongho dancing if feel more energized, Honjoong said that if he shows all of his skills the group's name would be Jongho and the other 7. It's really amazing to know that the members appreciate him that way. This reminded me of WANTEEZ when the members had to choose a partner, and Wooyoung said that his type is dance machine and chose Jongho. 😌
Happy Birthday to my ult bias! My precious Gummy Bear, I love him so much. The deja Vu fancam may be my weakness but his wave one makes me smile so much. He's so good at more of the lighter cutesy concepts!
I was going to wait until the end to write a comment, but i have so many small things to say that i know i'll forget. i'll try to keep it short! i know even the other members say if he doesnt have to focus on singing and dances full out, he would show how talented he really is. but like he's already very very good. i'm just really excited and always look forward to how he executes new choreo for their new songs. he has GREAT isolations as well (I mean they literally all do) and i agree, isolations executed well is like so satisfying to watch. they dance the choreo like its a second skin, like they have the moves down so well (i mean they practice very hard too), that when i see them perform, i just see that theyre having a good time singing and dancing. kinda how when a good song comes on, you literally cannot help but dance along in your seat. MEL! NO WAY! you know how seonghwa says atiny love his hands? that he has nice hands?... I THINK JONGHO'S FINGERNAILS OUTSHINE SEONGHWAS HANDS. IM NOT JOKING. OMG I CANT BELIEVE SOMEONE ELSE NOTICED LOL. I also do not have a fingernail kink, but we can appreciate nice fingernails when we see them ok. Smiling Jongho is my weakness as well. Like I smile, and then I want to shout, and also squeal BECAUSE HE'S THE CUTEST. I love how he's just naturally cute. then when he acts cute, his cuteness level goes up by 1012%! OH! yes! i watched another reactor and they noticed the say my name choreo in treasure as well. I also had never noticed. the more I watch it, i'm like its gotta be the same move. And Anze recently did say that say my name choreo was finished at the end of 2018, but only released with say my name at the beginning of 2019 when they had their comeback... You have not seen that show (the one you asked if you had seen...) It's SSAP DANCE. Its probably on the spreadsheet with all their content. I would definitely recommend that one or The Vikings for the next show of ATEEZ whenever you get to it. Don't worry about us Mel. We will still be here. It really means a lot that you worry over letting us know that the reason there wont be any yt videos is because you wont have time because you'll be filming so much as it already is :( Hope you get lots of rest when you can! First, what is it with fancams that you can clearly hear ateez sing live whereas the full live performance video is most often saturated with the backtrack ?? 😭 Also, that comment about Jongho being an "excellent yet underrated dancer" is kinda true. People who ult Ateez are definitely aware that he is a dance master (and i think it applies to all the members really) but people who don't follow ateez closely only know of the "main dancers" and would probably consider the rest of ateez as just decent dancers. Regarding that driving move, yep, that's the say my name move ... in Treasure ahaha ! From what I know, Anze and his team choreographed both of these songs back in 2018, so i guess they really liked that move back then (i mean how can you not. and to this day, the move is super iconic, popular and trendy 👀👀) ANYWAY, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO OUR BABY BOSS, ATEEZ (NOT SO SECRET ANYMORE) WEAPON ! 🥰
Jongho sadly is quite underrated, there´s more ot7 stans than you´d think (mainly Jongho but Mingi and Yeosang fall victim to this a bit as well), Idk know exactly why it's mainly him but I've seen people try and trade their Jongho pcs for another member and just being like any member is fine as long as it isn't Jongho and stuff like that (also if you love the cute smiley stages I'd definitely recommend watching some eternal sunshine performances!! I don't think you have done many (or any?))
