Can probably be improved by a few seconds after Druid checked the run before uploading, bigger timeskips are likely not possible unless new strategies are found.
Was really fun to TAS this one, especially since Speedbooster is found early and you can do a few cool chains with it. Water gameplay sucks though. Also found a few crashes, those were fun.

Very nice ideas on how you can control the direction of the shine spark and also you can speed boost in morph ball man I hope one day all these ideas from fans combined together with Nintendo to make the" Ultimate Metroid " that’s what I’d call it

He jugado muchos hacks como Redesing, Super Zero Mission, Axeil Edition, Cliffhanger, Golden Dawn, ZFactor, Chozo Ruins, Vitality, Final Stand, YPX, YFaster, YFaster 2Fast, Clocktobeferst, Lost Worlds, Ascent, Nature, Phanzon Hacksq, Oxide, Airy, Darkholme Hospital y Retroid. Son mas de 100 hacks en realidad aunque muchos son variates muy similares al original pero con mas dificultades como por ejemplo Super Metroid Impossible. Pero de todod este Hack (Origins) me interesa mas que todos a pesar de que no lo e jugado. Me gustaria saber si lo van a terminar o solo sera lo que mostrastes en el video.
Que yo sepa, el desarrollo terminó y alguien mas lo estaba arreglando y cambiando un par de cosas.
Esto es un fangame, no es un hack del Super Metroid.

@@DruidVorse Darn. I was hoping this was a more concerted effort to overhaul AM2R with updated graphics and getting rid of the gosh-darn fusion style physics. Samus feels so stiff and clunky.
@@davidfreeman5966 AM2R is getting a graphical overhaul among other things but the physics are pretty good already or you mean the physics in Metroid Origins?
@@DruidVorse the physics in origin seem to mirror Super Metroid while the physics in AM2R mirror Metroid Fusion. Super Metroid has a much smoother feel to Samus' control.
@@davidfreeman5966 the physics in Super Metroid are smooth when the game play is of a high skill level. Either a WR speedrunner or a TAS.
Also, I suggested changes to the physics in Origins that make it more like AM2R, it was clunky before these changes were implemented.
I speedrun AM2R and Samus doesn't feel clunky, the physics are based of Zero Mission, it's pretty lenient with some of the timings and the speed booster doesn't feel as rigid/strict as in ZM.
This looks different from when I played it. When did it get updated?
More importantly, SINCE WHEN CAN YOU CONTROL THE SHINESPARK!?!
I think a couple of months later got updated but it was not announced tho.
The shinespark control was one of the latest additions I think.

@@speedude0164 I think it was one of the things that I suggested to the last guy that was updating the game.
@@DruidVorse So he did, ultimately, update it past the "final version hopefully" "no I'm NEVER updating this EVER again" release. That's awesome news.

Sorry, the authors abandoned this sometime this year and they never released an apk of this game.

Hey is there a full map available online for this anywhere? I've looked but can't seem to find anything. I bombed my way into a hole and fell so far down that I'm not even visible on the map anymore, but the mini map still shows movement like I'm still on it somewhere. Awesome!

@@DruidVorse Can I ask what version you're playing? I'm playing 1.2 and notice differences in the map and for example the platform at 1:40 on the beam isn't there for me so I can't get to those missile up top. Just found out about Origins yesterday and would love to start over on the best version. Thanks man!

no, that's an entirely different thing but uses stuff from AM2R, SR388 and custom code.
