They pulled her hair up into a very short up do and attached it with a bobble. The whole ponytail and the platted part are false and its attached to her real hair by braiding the ponytail to her real hair. I believe that this is why she stopped wearing the ponytail when the tour hit Europe because it meant having to wait in her hotel room for her hair stylist to dismantle it all so she could go to bed. With the curls she didn't have to wait about for anyone, it was all much simpler. ❤❤
