Oh how I love him...there will never be another one like him....rest in peace Italian prince....Your wonderful video brings this beautiful man to life again....and his spirit lives on....eternally.

When I see a picture of Rudy with a roomful of actors, he shines. He looks completely
relaxed with his director and production people, He was championed by others with the studio bosses. He studied the camera and probably had a gift for projecting his expressions. His dressing and clothes were perfect. He worked hard to learn and didn't forget those who helped him along the way. He lived four or five lives. He was a true original, who was a great liver and lover of life. His medical treatment killed him. Unforgivable.
As so many I to loved Rudolph Valentino an amazing man and actor. His eyes were beautiful so many emotions he was so passionate. His smile would light up a dark room. As it was said there will never ever be another Rudolph he was one of kind. And he was very misunderstood. Such a beautiful soul heart abd spirit. Pray he is resting in peace. Much love ❤️ hugs.

Some very good clear, sharp films of Valentino. They need to do a better job of ‘cleaning up,” the Blu-ray version of “The Son of The Shiek!” It was disappointing, but his masculine charisma comes through!
Wish we’d have a recording of his speaking voice, rather than the one song he recorded. Seemed to have had a very deep voice. One can only wonder if he would have a successful transition to sound....as Greta Garbo was able to do.

It's always a pleasure making these videos - and it's always a treat to come across clean or hitherto unseen footage of Valentino these days ... I have the suspicion our Rudy is slowly falling out of memory as his work does not seem to get the remastering it deserves. If I had the resources and know how I'd do it myself! What's more frustrating is the other suspicion that there are collectors out there with hidden reels of unseen lost films that they are jealously guarding ... Rudy's legacy has not been handled well. Rant over ... your comment reminds me that I would like to set some of his footage to the wonderfully sung El Relicario! Thanks for your comment! :)
@@ourrudy3209 Most people today perhaps know the "The Sheik" consider it "campy" or that he died young. Seeing his earliest films and his non-Sheik roles and also the beauty contest footage just shows how handsome he was and what a fine actor he became. But most people do not know the range of his roles. Sadly, he was very unhappy during the last couple of years of his life and by the last year he was becoming very self-destructive. What a waste....

That Rudy Valentino was one "gorgeous man"!!! I personally think all men named "Rudy" are handsome men! I was once married to a Rudy, yes he is still handsome, but married to someone else. Yes, all of them are dead, but Rudy remains alive for his fans.
