    What are your thoughts on the pricing strategy for localization?

    The sheer fact that I need to pay 5000$/mo just to have control over styles in different locales is nothing short of insane.
    The fact that I need to pay the plus plan 29$/mo just to be able to change URL slugs is also a clear sign of fentanyl abuse by whoever is coming up with these prices.
    To not be able to translate the whole site with just a click is disappointing.
    Webflow really dropped the ball with Localization pricing and features distribution. Hopefully the post-feature launch clarity hits them soon.

      The pricing is the main concern, but yeah 5k for enterprise is crazy

    If you have document downloads, is it easy enough to swap PDF links in a CMS collection? Upload Spanish.pdf and English.pdf and let localisation deal with the URL?

    Thanks for this information, it's been super useful!
    I agree that if you have to have the Enterprise plan to style localized content, that is wrong. But it seems to be the way Webflow does things, e.g., having to have the Business plan for the ability to upload files via a form (and yet they can't sort out the multiple forms notifications sending to different email addresses!). I'm not sure that the additional $9 per month per locale is too much to pay though; the other translation software solutions are not particularly cheap.
    I'm assuming you're not using the Enterprise plan, but can you please confirm, one can still edit translations using localization without the Enterprise plan in place?

    Hello Arnau! I am relatively new to webflow. I am working on an ecommerce site, and trying to translate everything to Spanish, but all the e-commerce section is not working. Can you recommend me something. It would mean the world to me.

      hey, if the localization tool isn't working for ecom try out Weglot

    Localization should be free. Webflow plans are already too expensive compare to their competition.

    • @ArnauRos
      @ArnauRos  9 місяців тому

      I agree, its expensive. On the other hand I saw someone say that if you can get access an entire new market for X amount monthly its a good deal. Thoughts?

      @@ArnauRos For me its a huge downside that you have to be Enterprise in order to have custom styling of elements. Do you know how forms are working in different languages? If you open up a new market in other country maybe i would love to have different form for that country. (let's say two different contact forms pages for 2 locales)

      @@prtln4607i’m sure you could have different languages per form

      @@prtln4607i agree on styling - that should definitely be in the regular plan.

    Webflow Localisation is expensive and full of bugs, dont use it for any projects until these 2 problems are solved.
