The Bakerloo Line needs to start replacing the 1972 Stock with new tube trains. Who ever does win the bid to build and manufacture new tube stocks for the Bakerloo Line.
slight correction: bakerloo has 72 stock and pic line has 73

Very nice new entrance to the Bakerloo Line. The Bakerloo Line needs a massive upgrade especially with stations that does need modernisation and new tube trains to replace the existing 1972 Stock.

With one bus a day from our village to the local out-of-town shopping, I’m just wondering when the rest of Britain will receive the largesse which London habitually expects, gets and imagines is their right.
Maybe when someone builds a 10 storey office block on top of your bus stop?

Let me guess ... to prevent crowding everyone will be directed the wrong way in a long circular route to get to the actual trains. Am I wrong?

@@Peter-mj6lz Kings X is the worst. I try and avoid that place as it can be quite a trek if you follow the directions, but if you go the wrong way it's easier. All to do with overcrowding ie health and safety issues.
Why didn't I know about this
Utterly bizarre that having gone down an escalator to get to the entrance, you then have to go uo a not inconsiderable flight of stairs to get to the old Bakerloo Line ticket hall, then down another esvalator to get to the trains. Why not jusy build the new entrance at the height of thd old ticket hall in the first place?
Poor, poor poor design. TfL seem determined to make interchange between the Hammersmith & City Line and the Bakerloo line as difficult as possible, despite the fact that the Bakerloo Line platforms pass under the end of the Hammersmith & City ones!
