Yes, the doors do work like normal car doors, she's just doing it for the video. You don't "have" to use any of the buttons on the inside or outside, it's just nore convenient because they are heavy, buy if you gave it a good push, it will work just like every other car door.

My 1997 Nissan Hardbody has that same exact feature as well. Closes the door behind all on its own. The trick is to park on a steep incline & KA-POW! Automatic Door Shutter 😮

There’s a saying if it ain’t broke don’t fix it. The door should be able to close like a normal door
